Predestination was denied (and is) by most Jewish groups, not just Saducees. The idea is that God gave us free will to accept or reject His law and will.

Nice overview, I would only add two things that people forget about the Bible, only refers to the Sadducees specifically in Jerusalem that supported Herod. The Sadducees of Rome are a different group and alive and will. And it is not "The Resurrection of Jesus" that we have a problem with but the concept that resurrection happens in general. Big difference. Save for those who believe in zombie apocalypse few people in the world today believe in raising the dead.

Matthew 16:5 When they went across the lake, the disciples forgot to take bread. 6 “Be careful,” Jesus said to them. “Be on your guard against the yeast of the Pharisees and Sadducees.” 7 They discussed this among themselves and said, “It is because we didn’t bring any bread.” 8 Aware of their discussion, Jesus asked, “You of little faith, why are you talking among yourselves about having no bread? 9 Do you still not understand? Don’t you remember the five loaves for the five thousand, and how many basketfuls you gathered? 10 Or the seven loaves for the four thousand, and how many basketfuls you gathered? 11 How is it you don’t understand that I was not talking to you about bread? But be on your guard against the yeast of the Pharisees and Sadducees.” 12 Then they understood that he was not telling them to guard against the yeast used in bread, but against the teaching of the Pharisees and Sadducees. Replace Pharisees and Sadducees with some pastors, preachers, priests, ministers, rabbis, imams, etc. And replace circumcision with the Doctrine of Inerrancy.

Pharisees were ordered to stay at the base of the mountain (70) of them, whilst Moses alone went up to receive the 10 commandments,They feared Moses and his followers who were referred to as Minims, according to Jewish texts.

James Vozar ??? There were no Pharisees when Moses is said to have ascended Mt. Sinai (supposedly in the late Bronze Age, circa 13th century BCE). Pharisees (as described by the historian Josephus) arose at a much later time during the 2nd Temple period. Not sure which Jewish texts you are citing?
