One of the best, underrated (as of yet) channels on youtube with treasure troves of knowledge. Many thanks for your contribution in doing this.

Tim Noakes would be a great guest. He has some interesting research on exercise while glycogen-depleted.

As an amateur cyclist I take part in long distance cycling events like Grand Fondos or Brevets. Most of my training in winter will be on a trainer indoor. I noticed, that like myself, most people I know struggle to stay on the trainer for longer than 90 minutes. At the same time these cyclists would easily ride 3 or 4 hours outside. Wanting to extend the duration of my indoor lit trainings, I tried to figure out a way to be able to extend this time on the trainer to 3h. In my eyes, controlling my core temperature was one of the key elements to reach that time on the trainer. To do that, I had to ride at a power well below LT1, decrease the room temperature to about 15°C and below, use ventilators and drink 700ml per hour. So when you talk about your tests to exhaustion at 70% of vo2max, I wonder how this could be achieved on a trainer without overheating first. I would have enjoyed to join you in this talk to ask a lot of questions. Thank you for your fascinating talks.

Pleased you like the podcast! Personally and in our 30 years of studies we find just big fans do the trick. I just have a normal commercial pedestal fan pretty close. I rode 24 hrs once like that!!!
