The joy I have when a package, addressed to my children, arrives a day or two later containing an item my children peaked with excitement in ordering no more than two days prior. Of course, I manage this experience so as not to ruin my children’s value of ‘earning their keep’. This Amazon experience in unlike any other commercial transaction - it’s private, it’s non-obstructed by strangers and salespeople, and my children experience life’s acquisitions in comfort. As a result, my children are enabled to better appreciate, more accurately, what ‘things’ actually do for their happiness in contrast to their unique and personal, natural perspective. Thank you Amazon.

From my perspective as an Amazon seller, I have to say they are putting all effort and focus to the customer staisfaction but this has a downside for the sellers providing the products. We are many times omitted and ingored when proposing an innovation or a gap in the need. Basically all the focus on the final customer is paid by us, the sellers, and we are being left behind with our needs. I am not saying that it is bad, but a more seller focused approach from Amazon would be more welcome.

Jeff bezos is probably the greatest visionary entrepreneur of all time. It's amazing to know that Jeff had started amazon as a paperback book selling e-commerce platform in 1994 and turned it into a billion dollar empire and it is the very same Amazon which had launched Kindle e-book devices later in the 21st century.

Hire expert and give them power to make them for you. 4.) Be stuborn but flexible. 5.) Be your own biggest competition. 6.) Build where there is an improving infrastructure. 7.) Self-service is the mother of innovation. 8.) Experiment, and then experiment again. 9.) Cash is king. 10.) Share values of your shareholders.

I'm still using an iPhone 5c which belongs to my mother, and when I get my own new iPhone 11 max pro and iPhone Xr I'm just doing the same habits that I usually do with my previous iPhones except with the new and improved features installed as upgrades

@@alux I think that it would've been Gates. Gates can be a ruthless businessman just as much as he is a generous philanthropist. He is, factually, a genius and was once a figure of controversy for good reasons. Do not take me as a Gates hater because I personally wish that Walter Isaacson writes a biography in his name. Gates is an inspiration to me.

YorickReturns Accusations, you say. To bad the accusers had concrete proof.
@YorickReturns
4 жыл бұрын
@@dolsiemercado3140 Proof of what? Let me be blunt. Suppose that he did do something wrong. Bezos is an immensely successful man. Does he have flaws? I'm sure he does. But many average, i.e. not-very-successful, people like to hate him, because that makes them feel better about their mediocre lives. If a rich person treats people badly (which he shouldn't), it makes the news. If a poor person treats people badly (which he shouldn't), it doesn't make the news. Deep down, most people want to excuse their lack of success in life by ascribing it to their moral goodness. Convenient! I've had a very varied and diverse life so far. I grew up poor. I built my own wealth (not as much as Bezos!). I've seen the world: different cultures, different traditions, different religions. Let me tell you. Poor people and financially OK-ish people (the world over!) can be some of the nastiest people on the planet. Of course, not all of them. But many of them. They're angry, bitter, ungrateful.
@dolsiemercado3140
4 жыл бұрын
YorickReturns In USA you have the right to your opinion. Ms. Alexandria Oscaio-Cortez, congresswoman in 2018/or 2019 has the proof. Ok-ish people? When supervisors/managers allegedly break the labor laws. Employees want Mr. Bezos to fix the problem not brush it off. That is all. In my opinion, nasty people come from all walks of life. That is a personal choice that individual makes. I truly love being an American. During all of my travels I have learned to be an open minded person and show respect to all I encounter. I do not use words like ok-ish people?
@YorickReturns
4 жыл бұрын
@@dolsiemercado3140 Did Bezos instruct those managers to break those laws? Besides, law and morality are different. Just because an action is illegal, that doesn't necessarily make it immoral. I'm sure that you can think of some laws that you consider to be unjust. To the extent that someone is a bad person, that person doesn't deserve respect. Bezos deserves a lot of respect. Many people deserve very little respect. Yes, of course, nasty people can come from all walks of life. But, poor and financially OK-ish people are disproportionately nasty. If you spend a lot of time around people of different socio-economic backgrounds (as I have done), you'll see what I mean.

I don't think you need to be that filthy rich. as Bill Gates said he could understand people who want to earn million, but above couple of millions. the life is just the same. I think after one earn couple of millions, people should spend time on something for the soul and cultivate true relationships. if you like a yatch, you can rent the yatch with your friends during the weekend, you don't have to own it, it is lonely to drive your super yacht by yourself and living in a castle by yourself. or live on the cruise and travel the world. life is short and meaningless, if people goal is to be billionaire and make no contribution to humanity.
