Sofia, Bulgaria. Beautiful Mountains, sea, very cheap life and every night of the week people are out in the street till late. Costs are ridiculous small. Weather good. Sunny, snow for ski or beaches for summertime. Food? Mix of Balkan and Mediterranean. So far, the best country i found during my worldwide travels. Very safe place where to live. Good airport connections too.

It took me moving to North America to realize that Poland would be one of the most developed and significant European countries in 10/15/20 years. Despite the terrible politics that is going on there rn. Anyway, bright future in front of us guys! Pozdrawiam ;)

Yes ofc, but for instance here in croatia you can buy a house no probs, but having a house woun't grant you a residency on its own, we are joining schengen area from jan.1st so the usual schengen rules that were already in place, but you can get digital nomad visa and other type of visas, but there are countriea in and out of the eu where you can get the residency esier like with said property ownership.

The farther up north, like Gdansk, the colder the weather and shorter winter days. Czechia is not pronounced [chetshia]. For older Czechs with history conciousnes, it has a poor connotation. I would rather use Czecch republic or somewhat slangy expression Cesko [chesko].

At this time energy is a problem with electricity very very high, and people can’t afford it . That needs to be factored in any move .
