Crocodile Vs Impala
Even though it looks like the impala in this video is relaxing, it’s not the case. The only reason it’s on the ground at the river’s edge is because it’s being held back by a crocodile that has latched onto its legs. The animal tries to free itself, but the crocodile does not let go, and eventually falls to the ground again, but the impala gives the crocodile such an amazing fight that the reptile gives up and leaves, which opens the door for a couple of terrapins to feed on the impala. Even though it is still alive, it is not capable of standing up, probably due to a couple of broken legs caused by the crocodile, so it will eventually perish at the mouths of the hungry terrapins. After snatching an impala at the river’s edge, a crocodile has all the trouble in the world hanging on to the desperate animal, so much so, that the young impala manages to escape, only to be caught by a hungry leopard waiting in the brush. It’s amazing how such a young impala managed to fend off a famished crocodile. Too bad it was exhausted and ambushed by the leopard after all that effort and hard work. When it comes to potential encounters with crocodiles, impalas, like wildebeest, are required to drink on occasion and are exposed to the same hazards as all the other animals that live in the bush. Because they are significantly smaller and weaker than wildebeest, they need to exercise extra caution. On the other hand, they do have one benefit over wildebeest, and that is their capacity for speed. In this video, the crocodile makes a sudden leap out of the water, but the impala can avoid getting grabbed because of its speed.
Crocodile Vs Waterbuck
After coming out of the water to grab a waterbuck, a crocodile sees a hungry lioness steal hislunch from right under his eyes. Rather than fight the feline, the reptile decides to return into the water and let the big cat feast on the waterbuck. I guess you win some and you lose some, andthat goes for the lioness as well. While choking the waterbuck to death, the lioness’s cubs join her at the dinner table, which explains why she didn’t hesitate to challenge the crocodile for the waterbuck. She had to feed her cubs. It was tough for this waterbuck to escape when a vicious crocodile chose to seize the animal by one of its hind legs. The waterbuck had gone to the wrong beach to enjoy his day off, and it was impossible for him to escape. For a considerable amount of time, both animals remained locked, which was sufficient for the person who was recording the video to switch off his camera. It's rare to see crocodiles holding on to prey on land, but it’s the case in this video. The crocodile has caught a waterbuck at the edge of a waterhole and is not letting go. The other waterbucks cheer on their friend, but I think he needs more than cheering to escape. However, when the crocodile tries to solidify his hold and opens his mouth to do so, the waterbuck manages to escape, only, it’s difficult to get very far with a broken limb.
