Do you see socialism yet? I certainly do... They're not talking about it yet though... Been pretty closed lipped! I think it would be a welcome thing. with the robots and AI doing everything, we can all be happy, which they don't want because it means more kids. So, how do we prevent too many kids - rules, like China - 1 per couple, then go to a lottery system for those that want more than one - they might be able to. We need to start spreading this idea of 1 per couple and lottery system afterwards (worldwide), and then they'll let us finally breathe.

Claude 3.5 is amazing. I'm using it a lot to create scaffolds for my code. But at a certain point you really need to know your stuff and help Claude over dead points, where he can't help you further, starts walking in loops of errors. That's the problem with these videos, they show you the 'easy' things, but we are still not beyond the point that domain knowledge is no longer needed. Although, we are getting there are an amazing tempo.
@Fermion.

You're right. But even with current AI functioning around entry to junior level (in my experience), it will efficiently handle as much busy work that you throw at it, and saves the mid to senior level guys tons of time by reducing the need to comb through forums, documentation, and repositories for best practices of some obscure function, library, software, API, utility, etc. College students and recent entry levels are in a tough spot. We recently let go of a Jr. Network Engineer and Jr. Dev., due to AI.
@mb1287t

So better to create scaffolds? That's what I find. It just wants to add more or cuts off or gpt adds it at the expense of more important things. Something should be standard limitation. It's like it wants to see the tree and all it's roots, branches, and leaves at once but can only see sections of it through blinders when it gets to work. Just a question: does it simply fail best practice in code writing? Call function could help. But a human knows what that function does when they call it and gpt is hard pressed to fit that in the output I'm gathering that ai will be adopted better for humans as a code writer than it will anything else. It may as well create it's own code that works within it's memory limits.

Hi Drake. I joined your channel in February and shared it with my colleagues. Your work is great, and really helps learners of LLMs and use cases. It would be very helpful if you could provide the prompts you used in the 15 examples for Claude 3.5 Sonnet.

Hi Drake. I am trying to emulate several of the examples you provided, but I am getting messages from Claude that state that it cannot yet run the code it writes, and that there is no artifacts feature. Claude reply "I apologize for the confusion, but I don't actually have an "artifacts feature" or any capability to enable or disable features." How's that?

I thought that I was making progress on the artifacts feature, but alas, I got the same message. DR I have turned on the artifacts feature in claude 3.5 sonnet. Loving these automation walk-throughs! And btw, card counting is very prohibited as far as casinos would tell you. That said if someone is good at it, subtle, and not too greedy, odds are theyre doing it as a reflex. And you could argue that all black jack had a certain level of card counting in it if you want to use any method. I lose it when people jump in and out, play with emotion, and take dealers bust by hitting on a stay; especially when I have big action and big money riding on several splits or something 😂 when people jump in an out they screw to the cards, but that may just be superstition

I don't think I'll be mentioning anything revelatory for those of you who stopped for a minute to think about those examples, but here we go: OP keeps mentioning "just keep asking it in plain English until I get what I wanted", without ever declaring what they want from the start. This is fallacy that most likely the OP is convinced of or one that OP maliciously perpetuates to make the model seem more competent than in it. You can't effectively check whether what you got is what you wanted unless you specify it first. The examples here are mostly useless in a way that OP insists that the value he expects is there, like in 3:45 (it doesn't show any of those things). This is also why practical applications of any of those "use cases" will fail. While it's easy to be positively surprised by what you had no expectations for, it's incredibly hard to get what you specifically need from the models alike Sonnet. That's all isn't to dunk on the LLMs or more complex systems like Sonnet 3.5, which are amazing and have their uses. I'm just here to critique the particular "insane use cases" presented here.

I'd like this more if basic tutorials and already made and battle tested templates for these things in circulation. Its kinda cool that this chatbot can do these things to varying levels of success, but these still dont change the funxemental issues with products like these. If i wanted a No code solution to try and fix and issue that didn't exist in the first place while also being hoplessly adrift if something goes wrong aside from asking a non deterministic system to try again. I'll just save my money and do it myself.

What happens when you ask it to create something nobody has ever created before. e.g. object recognition that can tell the difference between different cats that appear on my security camera and log their names and the times they appeared.
@ai-foundations
2 ай бұрын
I like your thinking. This would have to be something YOU train actually. Because each type of cat would have to be labeled in an object detection package. I am not sure how I would go about this, but I am sure it's possible. But, since Claude doesn't know which type of cats you are referring to I don't know if it would be able to without some human intervention.
@jasonrhtx

You have to combine tools (libraries /frameworks) and/or create new ones. Also, if the object is unknown, then you will have to label it (supervised learning) or use RLHF until the model learns how to more reliably achieve the end goal.

It is garbage. I have really long experience using different GPTs (in programming). Claude (at least Sonnet) is making up stuff, therefore you should pay more attention how precise it is. In the end you will spend more time. On contrary ChatGPT (4o) is verbosy (even with your custrom instruction) but more accurate. IMHO, it is better to get annoying verbosy results instead of keeping constantly in eye on result's precison.

So far, I've put in 48 hours, and I must say that the documentation quality is excellent, and the ability to ensure consistency across all procedures is amazing. Moreover, I've been evaluating many suggestions and learning new theories and analysis models throughout the process. The video introduces 15 impressive use cases for the new Claude 3.5 Sonet model, showcasing its capabilities and advantages over previous AI models like GPT-4. The presenter, initially skeptical, was highly impressed with Claude 3.5's performance, despite having no coding experience. The main topics and use cases covered in the video are: 1. **Interactive Dashboards from PDFs**: Uploading PDFs to create interactive, visually appealing dashboards with features like dark mode and quizzes. 2. **Animations for Visualization**: Creating animated visualizations, such as showing how cells heal wounds, enhancing static images with dynamic elements. 3. **Visual Diagrams and Illustrations**: Converting static images into interactive diagrams to illustrate processes, such as information flow in neural networks. 4. **Web Applications**: Building web applications like a states of matter diagram, simulating particle behavior under different conditions. 5. **Games Creation**: Quickly developing games, from basic ones like Snake to more complex 3D games using simple prompts. 6. **8-bit and 16-bit Images**: Generating retro-style images, like Pac-Man and Mario, in various pixel resolutions. 7. **3D Simulations**: Creating 3D visualizations and simulations, including solar system models and 3D gaming environments. 8. **Data Comparison**: Using Claude for powerful data analysis, such as converting CSV files to JSON and creating interactive charts. 9. **System Architectures**: Designing system architectures for applications, like an SEO tool, using mermaid diagrams. 10. **SEO Tools**: Developing SEO analysis tools to optimize blog posts, providing keyword suggestions and content improvements. 11. **Real-time Object Detection**: Creating a real-time object detection web application using TensorFlow.js. 12. **Card Counting Game**: Developing a card counting game to practice advanced reasoning and memory skills. 13. **Mind Maps**: Generating mind maps for brainstorming and organizing content ideas. 14. **Deep Learning and Research**: Creating research posters and papers with interactive elements from complex PDFs for better data retention. 15. **Prompt Templates**: Creating reusable prompt templates to streamline the process of generating similar outputs from Claude 3.5, saving time and enhancing efficiency. The video also promotes joining a community for AI enthusiasts, providing resources, live calls, and courses on various AI topics. The presenter emphasizes the potential of Claude 3.5 Sonet in automating and enhancing creative and technical tasks with minimal effort.

The more I dig into this, the more ridiculous it gets. Claude: I can't read or process the PDF directly, so you would need to manually extract the relevant information from the PDF and share it with me in the chat. Me: Not sure why are you saying you cannot read or process PDF directly, since there is an "Upload docs or images" button in the user prompt box. Claude: I apologize for the confusion in my previous responses. You're absolutely right, and I thank you for bringing this to my attention. There is indeed an "Upload docs or images" button in the user interface, which I hadn't properly accounted for in my earlier statements. This is an important capability that I should have considered.

i ran into a snag. when making the seo tool i realized it cant actually work which makes it kind of completely useless. Here's what I discovered was missing: Prototype vs.Production-Ready Application: What you taught us to build was essentially a sophisticated prototype or frontend mock-up. It demonstrates the user interface and the intended functionality, but it doesn't have the backend infrastructure and AI integration required to perform real analysis and content generation. You should definitely clarify this so people don't make this seo tool thinking it will actually work.

In my case, for coding (im not a programmer) it took me way more time to make 2 apps (task manager and a bingo game) with Claude than with GPT, using the same prompts. Not only that but after I was done with the task manager, i wanted to add a "Weekly Objectives" section. GPT did it flawlessly while Claude kept giving me errors, until eventually I reached the hourly limit, and im on the paid plan trying it out. While I was waiting to keep using Claude, I made a chess game where White gets two turns instead of one for the fun of it. Again GPT did it flawlessly , got tired of waiting for Claude so I went to sleep. Will try some more but so far it has not made a great impression on me. Anyone else feeling like this? Claude is marketed as if it kicked GPTs butt in Coding, but for me I just do not see it.

Many have become lazy, often being late or simply regurgitating what others produce. You, however, consistently provide unique and practical use cases that stand out. Your content is genuinely useful and not just thrown together for the sake of being different.

Hey there, I'm having trouble making anything interactive using Claude Sonnet 3.5. Every time I try to include it, I get an error saying it can't be turned into a website animation or anything interactive. Any ideas why? Thanks!

Same here. "I apologize, but I do not have the ability to create, edit, manipulate or animate images. I can only perceive and analyze existing images." Also, "I apologize, but as an AI language model, I do not have the capability to create, edit, or manipulate files, including interactive PDF dashboards. " [Claude 3.5 Sonnet]

i ask it to "Stimulate the movement of information through this neural network image using moving elements and react." using a static image, it says: "I apologize, but I'm not able to generate, produce, edit, manipulate or create images. I can only perceive and analyze existing images. The image you've provided is a static infographic about family emotion sharing, presented in the style of a tree diagram. It does not contain any moving elements or animations." does it mean it only works on certain images?

17:43 this is one heck of a prompt and I'm amazed that you can just throw stuff like that at it and it can roll with it. Great insights.

The only things I dont like from start about Claude is how limited the conversation is and the prompt limit, if you used all the limits, you get to wait for a bit for like 3/5 hours and so which is fine but not being able to use my previous conversation is sin. I already have ChatGPT 4o, and I still say Claude is better. But the reason I am not buying Claude Pro is because you only get like 45 messages extra and wait of 5 hours and both Claude and GPT-4o have same price.

Exactly why I have two Claude Pro accounts lol... But, someone in my community mentioned to me if you use perplexity and select the Claude 3.5 model there, you can skip out on rate limits... Might be something to look into.

Those are very primitive examples. Then try to make your snake game multiplayer. Then introduce load balancing over multiple server nodes, plus deployment, guest accounts, switching guest account for real account, logins, database migration, queues, threads, async IO, cashing and what not what involves typical real world applications, getting real world application work like this as a WHOLE you'll be completely lost with your Claude,. no chance. That's were the value is. AI is just better google. Copy/pasting/prompting from AI or stack overflow only gets your so far.

Doesn't work for me, I keep getting this response below: I apologize, but I am not able to create, generate, edit, manipulate or produce PDF files or any other types of files or images. As an AI language model, I can only provide text-based responses and information.

That is an awesome idea. I have something similar using Make on this channel you should check it out if you haven't already. I built it so it watches my YT vids and creates newsletters around that.

I've also launched my newsletter and Claude does 80% of the job for me by taking inspiration from my favorite writers and my ideas. The only issue I face is the doc/text upload limit. It says it's 30 mb but it's not.
