I can assure you I’ve never caught anything close to 15lbs, but I have caught an 11 4, 10 15, 10 9, 10 3 and had a good one down at Okeechobee I lost next to the boat. The one thing all my big fish had in common was they was all caught fishing a worm like it was 10 degrees outside…

10 to 12” worm, Texas rig with 3/8 to 3/4” weight…. Try keeping the weight on the bottom with a very, very slow drag, 6-8” at a time and be very patient. I drag with my rod tip down to wards the water, with little to no slack. Remember big Bass are like democrats they don’t want to work hard for a meal so make it easy for them. … no fun intended!

@@dereksteele2284 It depend where you are but from my experience mono cut easier in every terrain, rocks or branches and the fish itself as I lost so much fishes with mono ( and I paid crazy amount of money to get the best) I just regret not knowing all those years, loosing a 5-10 dollars bait it's one thing but now they're so expensive that I don't want to loose any, I even got scuba diving equipment to go find some and it pays off really good, I never had less than $450 in 1 dive and that include cleaning and changing rusted hooks, the best part is 99% are with mono line so I guess it's the right choice but it doesn't mean other are not good, if you like to fish with mono and you catch fishes it's what count, never know I may find your shit at the bottom 1 day, mono line make me money so don't change lol.
