We were fortunate to purchase a bonded littermate pair from a Menonite family in North Idaho. We paid $600 for them both. The amount of playtime they have together daily is unreal - can't imagine having one by themself. They are the best cats I have ever had - my little Winston (brown) LOVES to play fetch. His favorite toy - a freakin' paper clip. He will retrieve it for 20-30 minutes easy. His brother Bentley (gray) just lays on the couch and watches the fun - it's hilarious!

My little Puck also LOVED to play fetch and his preferred ball was wadded up paper. When he worked out that his beloved paper balls started out flat sheets, he showed up when mail was opened and hung around the printer and desk like other cats beg for table scraps.

Thank you so much for sharing your heartwarming story about Winston and Bentley, your bonded littermate pair. It's incredible how the love and companionship between two cats can create such joy and amusement in our lives. The special bond that Winston and Bentley share is truly something to cherish. It's a testament to the unique connection that littermates often have, as they grow up together and form an unbreakable bond. The amount of playtime they engage in daily is a testament to their active and playful nature, and it's heartwarming to imagine them enjoying those moments together. It's fascinating how each cat has their own individual personality. Winston's love for playing fetch with a paper clip is both endearing and amusing. It's incredible how something so simple can bring such delight and entertainment to him. And Bentley, the observer of the fun, adds an extra layer of charm to the dynamic duo. Having two cats who bring so much joy, laughter, and companionship into your life is truly a blessing. The happiness they bring is immeasurable, and it's evident that they have become an integral part of your family. The bond between humans and their feline companions is something truly special, and Winston and Bentley are a shining example of that. Thank you for sharing this heart-touching glimpse into your life with Winston and Bentley. They are indeed the best cats you've ever had, and the love and laughter they bring is something to be cherished. May your days be filled with continued joy and precious moments with these wonderful feline companions. And i am so sorry for late reply, i explained in last video what happened.

@@CatVantageStory You’re welcome. ☺️Your Bengal is beautiful and what a happy addition to your life. We love them. They are definitely cats/monkeys/dogs. We even adopted a tiny stray domestic shorthaired kitten at the ATM a couple of years ago, as she was starving to death. Our two Bengals have raised her like their own and she now thinks she is a Bengal. Jumps higher than most normal cats and plays with them and keeps them on their toes. It’s fascinating to watch. They have A LOT of energy. Please don't get one unless you really can commit yourself to a minimum of 30min each day of hard playing and being there for them. Terrific summary of a wonderful breed. It’s better to get a litter pair. Not just a single cat, but that’s an expensive proposition. A cat wheel is absolutely necessary for them to burn off excess energy. And don’t let them roam; as the breed is well known by most people and your cat will be stolen in a heartbeat.

@CatVantageStory
Жыл бұрын
It's not uncommon for cats, including Bengals, to experience changes in their energy levels and behavior as they age. Just like humans, cats go through different life stages, and their activity levels can naturally decrease over time. While your Bengal may have slowed down compared to her younger years, it's important to remember that each cat is unique and their activity levels can vary. As cats age, they tend to become more selective about their activities and may prioritize certain behaviors, such as grooming and relaxation. It's great to hear that your Bengal now enjoys a nice grooming routine. Grooming not only helps to keep her coat clean and healthy but also provides an opportunity for bonding and pampering. As long as your Bengal is still exhibiting signs of good health, such as eating well, maintaining a healthy weight, and showing interest in play and interaction, there is usually no need to worry. However, it's always a good idea to monitor any significant changes in behavior or health and consult with a veterinarian if you have concerns. Remember, providing a comfortable and stimulating environment, along with regular veterinary check-ups, will help ensure your Bengal's continued well-being as she transitions into her senior years. Cherish these moments of relaxation and grooming with her, and enjoy the special bond you share. And i am so sorry for late reply, i explained in last video what happened.

Again a truly apt video describing these cats so accurate😸 plus the great video covering examples of them in action.👍 They are delightful 💖and even keep their owners active and more fit playing and keeping up with them. My suggestion is that aging persons with limited mobility, or anyone affected by health reducing mobility fully are best not to take them on, aside from temporary house sitting for bengals. If anyone considers the purchase price rather high(just a begining), don't bother to save up (as that's easy enough over time)for any, as the maintenance in their needs, dietary, environment, pet insurance and vet visits is always going to be higher than other domestic cats maintenance costs.

That big one omg 😃😃😃 so so nice! Question. Usually when discussing Bengals, do everyone refer to the F1-F3 or the SBTs? I'm confused because I'm thinking all these guidelines and facts about Bengals are for early generations. Can someone anyone clarify this for me please.
@CatVantageStory
Жыл бұрын
Sorry for late reply, in latest video i explained why we were away. About your comment.. When discussing Bengals, it's important to clarify whether we're referring to early generations (F1-F3) or SBTs (Stud Book Tradition). Generally, the guidelines and facts about Bengals apply to SBTs, which are multiple generations removed from the wild Asian leopard cat. Early generations have different considerations and may exhibit more wild traits. If you're unsure, it's always helpful to specify which generation you're referring to in order to have a more accurate and focused discussion.

Bengal will always be my second choice, the Chartreux being my number 1; unfortunately, real, true Chartreux are extremely rare in the USA. The Chartreux is an incredible companion and looker if you are into that. It is the closest cat to make you feel you have a dog... I don't want to take anything from the Bengal, because it is a joy in its own right. That being said, if you ever get the chance to own a Chartreux, not a copy, it will be hard to go back to any other breed.
@CatVantageStory
Жыл бұрын
Thank you for sharing your preference for the Chartreux breed and acknowledging the unique qualities it possesses. It's understandable that you have a strong affinity for the Chartreux and find them to be incredible companions with a dog-like demeanor. While the Chartreux breed may be rare in the USA, it's important to note that every cat breed has its own distinct characteristics and charm. Bengal cats, too, bring their own joy and unique traits to the table, making them a beloved choice for many cat enthusiasts. It's wonderful that you appreciate both breeds and recognize their individual merits. Each person has their own preferences and connections with different cat breeds, and finding the right companion is a personal choice based on one's lifestyle, preferences, and the bond they form with a particular breed. Thank you for sharing your perspective, and I hope you continue to enjoy the unique qualities of the Chartreux breed while also recognizing the joy and value that Bengal cats offer.

To teach your cat tricks, start by choosing a quiet and comfortable environment. Use positive reinforcement, like treats or praise, to reward desired behavior. Begin with simple commands and break them down into smaller steps. Be patient, consistent, and keep the training sessions fun. Respect your cat's individuality and remember that not all cats may be interested in learning tricks. With time, patience, and positive reinforcement, you can have a rewarding experience teaching your cat new tricks. Soon we will bring new website online where this will be one of topics we will cover. Stay tuned!

I'm sorry to hear about the fur-pulling issue your Bengal cat is experiencing. It's essential to address this concern and find a suitable solution. While I can provide some general guidance from my own experience, it's important to consult with a veterinarian for a thorough evaluation and personalized advice. Fur pulling in cats can have various underlying causes, including allergies, skin irritation, stress, or even medical conditions. Determining the exact cause requires a professional assessment. Your veterinarian can conduct a physical examination, review the cat's medical history, and potentially perform additional tests to diagnose the root cause. Regarding diet, it's possible that certain ingredients or allergens in your cat's food are triggering the fur-pulling behavior. Allergies in cats can manifest through skin issues, including excessive licking and grooming. Your veterinarian may recommend an elimination diet or allergy testing to identify potential food allergens. Based on the results, they can suggest appropriate dietary changes, such as switching to hypoallergenic or limited-ingredient foods. The frequency of feeding depends on the age, health, and individual needs of your cat. Most adult cats are typically fed twice a day, but your veterinarian can provide specific recommendations based on your cat's condition and nutritional requirements. In addition to addressing the diet, it's essential to consider environmental factors that may contribute to stress or anxiety in your cat. Providing a stimulating and enriched environment, with plenty of interactive toys, scratching posts, and vertical spaces, can help alleviate stress and redirect excessive grooming behaviors. Remember, seeking professional guidance from a veterinarian is crucial in addressing your cat's specific situation. They can offer a comprehensive evaluation and develop a tailored treatment plan to help your Bengal cat find relief and improve their overall well-being. Thank you for reaching out to the community, and I hope you find the answers and support you need to help your cat and sorry for late reply, if you watched last video you understand why.

The worst breed of cats to have, never ever will I get F1 bengals, they are independent, you are merely the source of food for them, that is why they hang around when you are in the kitchen, they don’t like to be held, they are a ruckus and impossible trying to clip their nail or give them medicine. They chew on plastics and toys then at the end of the night they vomit what ever they swallowed during the day on your carpets or hidden places. I had 4 F1 and they made my life miserable, I found good homes for them but never again. Later generations are more behaved and loving so I’m sticking with my only F6 for now.
