#17. Know the difference between the right answer and the correct answer. Social pressure, misrepresentation of facts, and perfectionism attempt to give you the right answer. Simplify your life by recognizing that the correct answer is the one that fits the context of your situation, your goals, and your personality. No one knows the correct answer for you but you. The right answer will waste your time and energy by attempting be someone you are not. This could be a broader form of #5 and#15. But, I believe this advice is useful broader than those situations alone. Thank you for the video! I truly enjoy Alux's content.

Ways to simplify your life 1) Create a morning routine (Important) • Wake up at the same time everyday • Drink water • Make your bed (your first big win of the day) • Some light exercise • Something educational (TED talk or Alux video) • Possible mediation session • To-do list for the day • Add one thing for the day that gets you closer to your long term goals • Go win at life 2) Have clear monthly, quarterly and yearly goals • What do I want to get done this year? • What should I do in the next 3 months to hit that yearly goal? • What should I do in the next month to hit that quarterly goal? 3) Stop reading/watching the news 4) Quit drinking alcohol 5) Learn to say no (not a priority) 6) Use a calendar 7) Declutter your house (if you don't wear your clothes in the past 2 years, you'll never use it again) 8) Paying off debts 9) Automate everything (paying bills, accounting, investing/savings, grocery shopping and delivery ) 10) Read more (The Four Agreements, 12 Rules for Life, Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance) 11) Expect less from others and more from yourself 12) Learn the difference between Urgent and Important 13) Stop trying to impress people (If it won't matter in 5 years, why do you care about it now?) 14) Follow 50% less people on social media 15) Don't live according to other people's expectations 16) Start a productive meditation practice (Alux advertised a product for the true Aluxers. You guys hit a great combination for self-mastery, though I'd like to add some suggestions. #1-Consistency: a small improvement that's always done is better than a bigger one thats hit or miss. #2-Listen to a motivational or informational video as part of your morning routine...only one! #3- Sleep on it. Wait a couple of days before making a purchase or decision that could effect your life, especially "wants" or something that will effect your future self more than a little bit. #4- recognize in yourself personal traits that are holding you back and make improvements. That last one is often hard but very worthwhile. Thank you for the opportunity to share and enjoy your day!

As a human might not be a possible thing but assign urself a specific task eg whenever I feel angry I write a small story . 3. Assign specific areas where will u put keys , files etc. So that you don't bother to search for them.

If you dwell on family or friend negative and propobaly drinking or doing drugs to get rid of the demons, save yourself the agony for years. Wake up. I'ts your life. Someone in the military said: 1. What have you done for yourself and your family? 2. for your team or your unit? 3. for the army and your country/community? I was in a military school when I heard this and probably didn’t say it correctly but I do try to follow it in the way I remember. You can change this however you like: 1. Yourself or family / family member... thru self care, education, health, encouragement 2. Your business or employee .... education, new equipment, better process, bonus, promotion 3. Your community or community member.... customer service, discounts, donation, volunteer work

Hello, ALUX I find this video inspiring and can sort through the tasks that I accomplished during the day. I have been concentrating for some time to do a maximum of 5 very important things for me a day and among these 5 things, I am learning a new skill all the time for at least 3 hours from Monday to Sunday inclusive. Your advice and videos, not all, but many of your videos, especially those about billionaires, their ways of living, thinking, acting, inspires me and pushes me to move forward and create for me and my close to life that I souhiate. Thanks again and continue as well A quick question: How do you make your videos? What software do you use? What is the frame you are for creating each video? thank you in advance cordially

The best way I simplified my life was to drop dishonesty. Living inauthentically takes a lot of mental energy. All people lie and all people can strive to tell fewer lies. Lying about who you are deprives others from loving the true you. Best of all, being truthful about yourself to yourself allows you to love yourself more. This is probably the best way to simplify one's life because it lightens your mental load by not having to remember dishonest "back-stories". Life is so much better when you simplify your life by being honest and ethical. Make honesty a habit.

Great suggestions & video overall Alux! The only one I vehemently disagree with is #3) Stop reading/watching the News. The most successful/wealthy ppl I know are avid consumers of news. How can one make important decisions about life/career if you're not up to date on breaking headlines of finance, business, politics, trends, natural disasters, agriculture/weather reports, scientific discoveries, etc.? Events happening in the news enlighten us to make sound decisions. Depending only on your friends for news is a bad idea. That would be akin to "hearsay" which is not allowed in court because rumors/gossip is not a smart way to make important decisions. Yes, consuming News can be a time robber, so I give myself no more than 15 minutes a day to scan the headlines; then go deeper to research any news story that may affect my lifestyle and income.
