Growing up I had a 1994 Honda XR80. I begged my parents for a 2 stroke. My classmate Dusty had a Kawasaki KX80 that bike was so much more fun than mine when it ran!! Another classmate Stony had a one of those RM 150s. All the years we were in school, I saw Stony ride that 125 1 time!! Dusty got tired of my bike not being able to keep up with his!! The only good thing about that XR80 was it never broke down... I rode that bike into the ground!! I keep telling myself I'm going to get me that CR500..... Someday!! Keep up the great work bud!!

Dear 5150mxVW 👍👌👏 Good job reorganizing the shop. Hope you get a really nice workbench with a good turnable vise soon. Maybe it would be a good idea to let Josh have his own little workbench (something that is able to grow as/like he does)!? Maaaan, I would love to send him a small vise and some tools out of my stash. But unfortunately the overseas shipping costs are way too high. :-( 2) Honestly: I'm really good as a bad example. :-) ;-) What I always did and still do wrong is too much diversification and procrastination resulting in too much started projects (having and storing a lot of unfinished projects). Maybe I should'nt but with this in mind please kindly allow me to.ask (and please, please don't get me wrong): Although this yellow tiny engine bike looks really nice, why another another project? Wasn't the redorange bike already a dodge project? Best regards luck and health to all of you.

Hi CC , thank you , soon on the bench , the one i want is out of stock . As far as " another project " : I wanted to get the garage here cleaned up and functional . It's easier now for Josh to work with me here than trying to get him over to the " shop " . The yellow bike is a model I am very fond of and i already have most of the parts . As for the red bike i'm still chasing some engine parts . Thank you CC , Best Regards

@@5150mxVW Thanks for replying. Yeah, you two seem really busy these days. By the way: What did your wife "J" received from the "JJ"- boys for Valentines day? Instead of flowers maybe a colorful bouquet of old cars, bikes and beautiful arranged scrap? LOL, just teasing and kidding of course. ;-) :-) 2) Uhm... I think I mixed something up. Do you have two shops and one of them far away from your home property? Or is the building far away the shop and at home there is only a garage? Anyway: Getting it functional is a very good idea. As long as you are not as famous as someone we both know and admire, it's better to work near your house. So great little petrolhead Josh can "help" and learn more often from you. Being together with his parents and working with his father is extremely important. Please be so kind and give Josh a big hug from me. Thanks in advance. 3) Is it a secret what you do for a living respectively what kind of job or company you have? 4) Another another project: Of course I was thinking/wondering about the patina restoration of the VW split window pick up and the other cool 4 wheel projects. Sincerely yours.

@@5150mxVW Have you had a cr? top ends last much longer. the parts are made better & stronger. We all know rm top ends are piss weak compared to most of the other bikes. yz, cr much more lasting engines

Oneness Seeker the last CR250 I had ( 2000 ) spit the face of its piston off in the turn before the finish line jump at Gatorback . Luckily it didn’t grenade off the finish line . I won’t argue the quality of RM’s to the CR’s and YZ’s but RM’s have been fine for me .
