You are talking about journey, the fact that many players are dropping out of that journey before completing it is all in the hands of developers. The reasons why only no more than 10% of total players have ever completed also says plenty. The journey you have in mind was "fun" in the time of 20 years ago. You need to learn from other mistakes and other breakthroughs. If you don't want players to "live" in dungeons give rewards(xp, items) of dungeons outside of dungeons. Yes the are "named" monsters but they are farmed by everyone and have crazy long re spawn time. It comes in one thing that players want to see the content but it is barred behind xp and the xp is in dungeons. Players most of the time will look for the most effective way to do things.

I agree some of the best content is in dungeons. However the best xp is in the overlands in small groups.

I do not recognise your name from KZitem, so I apologies if I'm saying something you have already experienced. Do you know that the NAMED (in & out of dungeons) are not spawning on timers but have a chance to respawn if the placeholders are killed. The community usually know what are the placeholders of each named and share this information easily with new players. Thanks for your feedback & sharing your experience!

I totally understand you don't want to just create another MMO like other stuff on the market. You need to have a unique levelling system which is not like "Aion" which had a level cap of 50 on launch or other similar type of MMOs in the past, so I think max level of 30 for this game in it's current state is fairly reasonable. BTW I absolutely love the effort that you folks put in to making this game as a group of 10 people to create a unique & wonderful experience for players 🤗😎👏

Our community was really not enthousiastic for the Content Compression and some were very vocally against it. We decided to not take the risk, and to shelf the idea. Maybe one day we will need it. :)

IMO the content compression is not your only challenge at the moment as managers/developers; you need to add 3 man dungeons at lower levels as well as high level zones on the map. So players get familiar with the concept of team work even though the server population is low they can still progress through content. Since your game is not on Steam/EA app or other game based platforms you are not as popular as other MMOs because "Steam" usually has charts/reviews and "recommended game list" according to preferences of the player, so even if no one knows about your game the player can still find it under "MMORPG category", this in itself is a form of marketing/advertising, however with your current state of the game you as managers/developers need to solely rely on KZitem/Twitch streamers to showcase your game to other people. 🤔😊

GEL: Group Elevated Level. Whilst joining a group, players will be "boosted" to the max level player in their group and in range, with a max of 5 levels, when it comes to resistance. meaning that they will nto be more powerful, gaining more XP or doing more damage, but red mobs will stop to resist their attacks and they will not be one shotted by red mobs anymore. I hope it is clear. :)
