Thanks for the support! I agree, they’re incredibly handy

I had one of the old remington 700 300BLK rifles years ago. It didn't shoot particularly good, but it was a fun rifle.

They’re incredibly fun, especially suppressed. I’ve been surprised at the accuracy I am able to get out of my custom 300blk bolt gun

I recently picked up a ruger ranch chamber in 7.62*39. Got a ak mag adapter for it its a little bit cheaper to train with than 54r

Very nice! Hope x39 isn’t eating a hole in your pocketbook right now with pricing and availability

Is that an Anarchy or sterk bolt handle?

Great video brother. I have been looking at getting into my first bolt gun and learned about the tikka. Since you've had the gun for a while now I wonder what your thoughts are. Might give it a go if your review is still good.

Man sorry for the late response. Hands down one of my favorite factory rifles/actions. Stuck a proof prefit on it and it’s an absolute hammer. Not that it wasn’t before. 10/10 recommend

Cool discussion on short precision rifles. I take it that’s Grayboe Ridgeback?? Where did you pick it up? Thanks! Isaac

Thanks Isaac! It is a ridgeback. I snagged this direct but red hawk is a dealer I believe and they stay pretty stocked up with bottom metal deals too

You can actually use AICS mags with minimal mods. If i have understood correctly, all you need to do is to bend the mag catch hole on the mag a little

That’s what I heard as well. May not be a bad option. I’ve grown to like the Tikka mags now I’ve picked up a few more and have gotten some time with them

What twist rate are you running on the 300 BLK? Have you hand loaded the Barnes 110 TTSX’s?
@hkrifleworks

1/7 on this one. Not yet, just 110 V Maxes but get the most range and accuracy out of the 125 flavor bullets. 125 TMK’s are what I’m shooting now

What is the action and barrel on the 300 blackout? I didn't hear you say what that build was.

What You did with the tikka magazin to work better?
@hkrifleworks
6 ай бұрын
I pulled the follower and spring out of the top of the magazine and bent the spring to put even upwards pressure on the cartridge so they would not nose dive when cycling

Is that an all factory rifle from Tikka? Never heard of a 1/11 twist 300 BLK.

The first rifle was in 300blk. The Tac A1 is in 308 and 1:11 twist. I did just put a proof on the Tac A1 though

Settled on 42.2 of Varget with 175 SMK’s. These tikkas have a fairly generous freebore so I’m about .020” off. Great load thus far though

Hey, what tape do you use to wrap the scope?
@hkrifleworks

This is a self adhering camo ace bandage or vet wrap. I think it’s the mcnett camo form specifically. It’s nice because it doesn’t leave that glue residue and only sticks to itself
