Massive architecture? But do you know that architecture elements are resting on structural/civil elements? It means all architectural elements are very much dependent on structural/ civil elements of an structure...a civil engineer can sign an architectural plan even closing his eyes. But an architect can not sign a civil civil or structural plans...that's the difference between an engineer and an architect

Sure these building are advanced but not as advanced as the structures built by the ancients. They were far more advanced that's why they last thousands of years.
