Lovely little graveyard steeped in history and well looked after . The little round thing is a bug hotel for insects to live during the winter , I have a square one on my fence. That had some unique and very old ones. My youngest is back East in Virginia. She sent pics of my parents’ and GreatGrandfather’s tombstones at Arlington. They’ve put a couple of people between my Parents and my Dad’s Grandfather!! Snuck unrelated in because they’ve run out of space. That was weird to see. Things change. 🤷🏼♀️ Thanks for that video! ❤❤❤❤

great work on finding so much of historical interest, behind this video , absolutely priceless, riveting stuff for those of us watching at home. i spent many hours doing this in my time , and a great deal more time rolling film in various record offices, and family history centers, helping others find their loved ones, it was a great experience, and can tell many a tale, but you can't beat the sheer exitement of field work, recording it as you do is of immense value to many many folks, and yes indeed I Have found names who my well have connection to my own family names, as i've watched your video's

That mausoleum seems huge for 1 person GV, he must have really admired his mother in law, (or was pushed by his mrs, lol). The only Martha Cuff I found outlived her husband by over 40 years and is buried in Dublin. She might be your missing wife! Loved the father and son tomb, and all the old masonry carvings. Hope the restoration continues, it will look amazing when finished. Thank you for another great adventure. Deb of Oz XXX

Great video on the nice little small Cemetery with the old church. Hopefully they will use that as teaching method that only about the church and the grounds but about the Cromwell 1649 debauchery of all the churches that were catholic. This way they'll be able to teach people with that gentleman you talked about who died at Christmas Day 1659 and people can learn some history of your area and during cromwell's burning and pillaging.

Hi GV….what a lovely little graveyard! Packed with so much interesting items and History! Great they are cleaning it up,looks like they are very last minute regarding saving the old inscriptions!! 1700’s! Gosh! That tin with the holes, is, as someone else mentioned a “Bee Box”. I have one in my garden and the solitary leaf cutter bees lay their eggs, leave food, then cut half moon shapes out of leaves ( in my case tree fuchsia plant leaves!) which they roll up and seal the hole with. Some other insects may use, but in my case it’s that bee just mentioned, who sadly goes off and dies so the next generation hatches the next year etc! Fascinating to learn about, and with all bee species in decline, great that someone has put a box there for them! Loving the places you’ve found to visit and take us to GV really been enjoying them all, and your camera work is excellent…good steady hand, so we don’t get dizzy, and best of all you give us time to view and read grave stone inscriptions with you!
