11:20 wait so miss if i start displacement with " cos" (max displacement ) does it mean that velocity is -sin and acceleration is --cos ?

So meaing that acceleration velocity equations differ depending on starting position and this could be figured out by trigo differentiation. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Yepp, wise advice right there, since most of us may not link our maths knowledge to physics!

how can circular motion be SHM ? there is no mean position and also nowhere the net force is 0. how then ma'am 2:54
@furqan8201
2 жыл бұрын
it can, because eventually for a body in circular motion, u can get a is proportional to -x, which is the condition for SHM

@@furqan8201 but circular motion is only periodic and not oscillatory because the wheels do not move to and fro about a mean position.

There is a phase and periodic relationship between UCM and SHM, that's why.
