1. Raspberries, blackberries, stawberries, blueberries etc ... with yoghurt for breakfast 2. Eggs ...1-2 a day 3. Chia seeds ... soak in oats milk 4. Cheese ... goats cheese, pecorrino 5. Guava 6. Pumpernickel bread with avocado 7. Pumpkin, butternut squash ...soup , salads 8. Zucchini 9. Bell peppers 10. Brocolli 11. Garlic 12. Olive oil ... on salads with lemon 13. Shrimp 14. Beans - legumes 15. Spinach 16. Flaxseeds 17 avocados Also cabbage , leafy greens (kale, swiss chard) , brussel sprouts (cook with olive oil or ghee), salmon, chicken breast with skin 🤗

Great video!!!!! and thanks for it not being over-verbal, and thanks for listing the food items. I retired about 1½ years ago as an overweight 72-year-old Aussie driving instructor with diabetes 2 and did something about my weight - regular exercise and changed my diet to something very close to the list (except for chia seeds, zucchini and goat's milk), and low-GI multi-grain bread that's been frozen. Breakfast is zero sugar yogurt, blueberries and nuts, My vegetables are spinach leaf, broccoli, cauliflower, onion and carrot. I alternate between eggs, and lean mince & tinned fish in olive oil for dinner. For me, it took nearly12 months but it worked beautifully! Over the months I reduced my daily large-dose insulin injections and now don't need to inject insulin at all, and I've reduced my prescription medication as well. And my eyesight improved.

Oh, I'll bet that avocado spread on toasted pumpernickel or rye bread is awesome! I never seem to have both in-house at the same time😢 Those 2 breads plus sourdough are my go to choices. The pumpernickel or rye make great deli or grilled cheese while sourdough is a good one for "French " toast soaked in egg and topped with berries. Breakfast is my largest meal of the day. That can include oatmeal ( dessert)with a choice of these fruits, walnuts, chia and flax seeds if I have them, plus veggies (main course) with usually chicken or kidney or black beans etc., and either coffee or tea. Lunch is less and early supper may be just veggies and coffee or tea. Today it's kale with mushrooms and sweet potatoes with olive oil and butter and a nice scoop of minced garlic.. Kale is my green stable. Love cauliflower, zucchini, Brussels sprouts and broccoli, too, just to name a few! I rotate. I really feel sorry for those that don't like them😢 I guess they never had them fixed right for their taste. So many ways to make them❤😊

I’m so thankful I came across your videos. I s was recently diagnosed with type 2. There’s so much to learn. Thank you thank you for taking time to make these videos. To teach us what to eat not to eat etc. praying I can take all this info and apply it. I really wanted to lower my numbers. I don’t want to be on insulin.

Please always remembe🎉r to soak Chia seeds in water/oatmilk etc for at least 20 mins before consumption, or ideally overnight, perfect for breakfast time.

I eat berries & low fat cottage cheese every morning! The cottage cheese is an excellent protein source. Sometimes I blend the cottage cheese for a smoother texture & that is delicious. I have to eat low fat due to pancreatitis--chronic. Is it terrible to have it with 1/2 an almost green bannana sometimes? No answer?

I have been taking Krill oil pills and Moringa capsules for 2 years now. Feel great! A1c went up 2 pts when I took berberine though. Not too happy about that. See Dr tomorrow. Hope it's gone down.

1. Fenugreek seeds soaked in water overnight. Drink water & chew seeds empty stomach 2. Also consumption of 1tsp Moringa powder daily 3. Limit intake of carbohydrates. Should not be more than 50% of total calories. Best if can limit it to 30%

Your food choices are excellent, and I have eaten those foods for a long time. But I disagree with the skipping breakfast part. I never eat breakfast anymore and rarely lunch. Intermittent fasting actually lowered my insulin tremendously to 4,7, helping my blood sugar come down, as well as my HOMA IR to 1.3 (glucose insulin ratio). It lowered my cortisol, lowered my CRP, lowered my triglycerides, raised my HDL, lowered my ALT, lowered my uric acid, and I lost 30 pounds easily in all the right places. My energy levels went soaring. 5 days a week I go 18-24 hours without eating. Then I break my fast with fresh fruit, coconut milk yogurt, nuts and seeds (yes, as you said) and have my big salads, veges, and protein a bit later. Please look into this.

If I skip breakfast, my blood sugars plummet to dangerously low levels - I have extremely high metabolism, probably the reason I have diabetes, even though I have always been underweight. Each person is unique, though I am glad fasting has helped you.

Looks like I am eating right as those are the main foods that I eat except the sea food and not enough olive oil. 15out of 17 isn't all that bad. thanks for the video.

I’m hoping you know guacamole is avocado. I like to sprinkle Tajin on my avocado; it’s a Mexican seasoning made with chili 🌶️ peppers, sea salt, & lime juice. The lime & salt brightens the avocado 🥑 flavor and the chili gives it a great kick! 😊

I Strongly advocate and recommend regular swimming in a walk-in pool on preferably daily basis that includes cardio walking with various aerobics in the swimming pool also exposing the body to morning sunlight for free vitamin D for a total 45 minutes daily in addition to healthy diet management 😂🎉
