I like the oldschool Look and feel of wrap and Tuck. But ofc its faster to change Bands with clips.

I like wrap and tuck as a skill because it doesn't limit me to manufactured forks. Any remotely Y shaped object can be a slingshot. I've banded up the handles on an alligator clamp and let fly. The anchor was about the same as my sparrow and I was on target pretty quick.

I've never tried a top slot system but it seems pretty neat and clean to me. I'll give it a go in the future, perhaps un a natty, what do you think about top slot system?

For any concerned that wrap and tuck is difficult, I promise it’s really not. I was certain I would screw it up but I successfully did it proper on my first try in like 5 minutes. After I had done it 3-4 more times I could then get it done in maybe half that time. Nathan makes it look super quick and easy in his tutorial vid. He’s likely done it thousands of times. but it doesn’t take years to get almost as fast, it’s cake, especially if you use the paper clip trick. Clips are nice though, especially for kids or someone who changes their bands a lot.

Lo unico que cambia es la rapidez de reposicion de bandas.. La punteria es personal... Saludos

There is also the plug system, which uses rubber plugs to secure the bands. The plug-type system is very convenient and works extremely well with heavy and light bands.... Wrap and tuck is not difficult but its LESS convenient compare to the clip or plug type systems.

Yes, that is the Ocularis Plug System for the band attachment and it does work well.

It depends on your game and accuracy. I hunt grouse and a body shot is pointless, feathers are basically armor. That means a head shot, tiny target. I'm more accurate with lighter bands that toss 8 mm really fast, so I'll go with that combo for grouse. If I was after something with a bigger harder skull I'll go with heavier bands and 9.5 or 11 mm/3/8th or 7/16. Heavier ammo means more drop at longer ranges, so if you go heavy, then you will want to train the snot out of your distances so your hold over is second nature.

whats your opinion on using your dominant hand as the pouch hand? im a righty but ive grown very used to holding the SLINGSHOT with my right hand. not the pouch. some say that its a must but im not sure. id have to start from square one if i did that

If you aim, you want to use the dominant eye to sight down the band.
