Nice review Rob. Wonder if I could load the Nikon Z9 LUT for NRAW previews? Maybe we can get together and try it.

I'll see if I can load it. I think I still have one of your old video files..

Thanks for letting me know. I used a different setup and forgot to check mono/stereo.

If you were to use this for still photography what options are available to also use flash. i.e. alternative mounting instead of hot shoe.

Hi @dretwav. I made a video showing how I mount the monitor off camera here: kzitem.info/news/bejne/k413rpmeh4OHfag

Hi, could you please gibe us the exact model number you are referring to? The amazon link leads to a different model. As far as I understood it, it is the A6 plus V2. But this comes in different variations and in none of the amazon offers, the battery is included and costs 219 USD and Euro. Could you please check this and post here the modelname and what is included in it so we know what we get for.

Hi. I checked the link and it goes to the correct model "Andycine A6 Max". Here is a copy of the text on the Amazon Page you can search for if needed "ANDYCINE A6 Max 6 Inch Touch Screen Camera HDMI Monitor Bundle".

I just purchased this for my OM-1. When I press the play button to look at images on the card the external display says "no signal". what am I missing?

I've not been able to duplicate this on mine. Something you can try is disconnect the monitor. Go into the camera menu to the Wrench --> 3.Monitor/Sound/Connection --> HDMI Settings --> 1080p & 60p. Now reconnect the monitor and try to display your card images. Some notes: OM-1 Firmware 1.4, A6 Max Firmware 5.1.2. Some HDMI cables don't support 4k, so if you're using a different cable and your HDMI setting in-camera is set to output 4k, that could be the problem. Let me know if that worked. Thanks. -Rob

Imagine if we could use our phones, instead of buying more gadgets. Just like Sony has done with their pro and pro-i series and sony cameras. But I guess it's better to just buy more plastic, than fix it in software on gear we already have. 😬

I'm not familiar with the Sony products. But I agree with the idea. If we're already carrying around monitors in our phones, there should be an easy way to leverage that.
