@@God-w- Yeah but vintage cars usually are better off sitting in the garage, with their lack of performance and safety features. The F1 is a true drivers car. 100% raw. It’s meant to be driven by the best of the best. You can only make it go as fast as your skill level. It’s also worth $20 M’s. So I definitely appreciate seeing people actually drive this one. That’s what it’s meant for, driving, all these other vintage crap boxes are just boxes on wheels. Keep me’ locked up.

I had to park next to a brand new McLaren one time. Terrifying experience lol. The owner and his friends ( a bunch chinese kids dressed like he was in the matrix) was staring at me the whole time time. The group also had a lambo and a nissan gt-r. I guess the gt-r guy was their version of a poor friend.

@@rooseveltbrentwood9654 those cars aren’t expensive, you can afford one on a normal wage. I bought a gallardo right after I graduated high school, was only $45k but had 30k miles and flaws. I had it for a week and sold it for $55k. Those cars suck ass, very uncomfortable, ac barely blows, terrible on fuel and my $3000 Silverado would whoop them in a street race. I’m sure the newer ones are much better.

I think you should pay for what things are worth in life. Like that shirt your talking about. Yes, I definitely would pay £100-150 for a great shirt, with great material, which fits brilliantly and looks nice. You can’t get that quality with a £10 school shirt. I wouldn’t however pay £750 for a white shirt because it’s a certain make. No way, that’s a waste of money and the quality is rarely any better. That’s why 18M for that car is nonsense

I still love classics from the late 80s and 90s. E30s, Japanese, domestics, and likewise. This McClaren is a little over the top for me, especially given experience on the road. Plus, where would you safely drive that to prevent accidents and wasted money? Hardly anywhere, man.

They’re from the 90’s and they didn’t make that many and because rich people have decided that they’re extremely desirable so the competition to purchase them has driven the price way up. The F1 is also the only car to have 3 front seats with a middle seating position for the driver until recently. It also held the top speed record for a road legal car for a long time. Just like with everything else. Products are only worth what people are willing to pay for it but the billionaires of the world have decided the F1 is the car to have. I’m sure racing heritage may have something to do with it but i don’t know much about that

it’s actually not an F1 GTR. this is a F1 with the HDK or High Downforce Kit which was offered to McLaren owners. this car in the video is chassis 018. 😊
