I wanted to say thank you for talking about smaller side of the spectrum along with the bigger one when talking about size inclusivity. I have small chest and narrow shoulders, often the smallest size isn't small enough for me 😅 I found a few models from your bundle which should fit me well without modifications 👍

You’re so welcome! It so much part of the size inclusive story we’re talking about. Some pattern only go up to 120cm and on the other sides some pattern only start at 100cm which just doesn’t work for a lot of people. I’m really happy you were able to find some patterns in this list 🥰😘

"Bout de chou" is an affectionate phrase we use in France to describe a baby or a toddler. Perhaps in English you'd say "Little one". The literal translation however is " a bit of cabbage". (ref cardigan at 25:50)

Thanks for the pattern roundup! I now have some inspiration for my several “sweater quantities” of yarn. I especially liked ‘cocktail” by Tricot design. I, like you apparently, like a bit more of a fitted cardigan than the current oversized look. It just looks better on my body and fits my esthetic better. 🤗😊

Ah I'm so happy to hear that 😄 I absolutely have the same, honestly love the oversized look on some people but a bit smaller definitely suits my figure better too ❤️

I am trying to find a cardigan pattern that is like the one you are wearing but not drop shoulder as I don’t suit drop shoulder! Any suggestions? Finger weight 2 threads at a time merino Adrifil. I’ve not done a top down but with support I’m sure i could manage it 🧐

Oeh I wouldn’t know one right now. I’d recommend using Ravelry and making use of the filters they have. You can click on raglan or round yoke and I’m sure many beautiful patterns will come up 😄❤️

Love the Marisa and the pressed flowers, have you knit a April cardigan? I have made two now and I love them. It has a saddle shoulder construction. The only thing I altered was the button band .I knit a double knit button band which I prefer the look of. Thanks for your video, loved watching ❤x

Have you seen the Fluffy Ass Brioche Cardigan by Claire Eggers? Its a two colour brioche cardigan. After you mentioned it I was like, yes, I have to make one. This one uses super chunky yarn though, and has a lot of positive ease, but I think would be able to be modified to work. Size down for less ease and then size up for gauge at smaller yarn? Only ideas.

Oeh I just looked it up and it looks really cozy. A bit too bulky for my taste but with some alterations that might work. Eventually I went with the Maybury cardigan by Ami Lowden because I just couldn’t resist the brioche look, this one is with fisherman’s rib tho but I’m very much enjoying it. Thank you so much for your recommendation, I really appreciate it 😄❤️

Thank you for showing all the lovely cardigans.😍 I knit the Whitmoor cardigan last year, and as I don't enjoy knitting flat, I knit it all in the round with a steeked front. I'm very happy with the result. It is a lovely design. Best of luck to you on choosing which you will knit next. 🥰

@@themindfulcreators I think the Agnete Cardigan or the Calm down Cardigan will hop on my needles as soon as my Pink velvet sweater is finished. I feel quite encouraged to give brioche a try so I‘m leaning a little more to the Agnete.

Just a thought......I often use a pattern for the style and do my own stitch so you could do the fishermans rib cardigan but do brioche instead.

I’ve thought about it but wasn’t sure about if it would affect the shaping. It’s definitely something I almost planned on doing for the Maybury cardigan but I decided to go for it in the fisherman’s rib version 🥰
@kittyrhyder
7 ай бұрын
Thinking it shouldnt affect the shaping as they are both a 2 stitch pattern and it doesnt look like a fitted cardigan so with the positive ease in it it should be fine, though not 100% sure on that as havent looked at the pattern. Am sure it will look awesome when you are done. 😃Groetjes from Down Under
