@WyattandReyka

Woohoo!! That’s so exciting!! We loved our trip! We actually planned all the places in the video ourselves based on research! In terms of safety as long as you stay in the areas where all the tourists go it is totally safe to walk around! Most likely, especially if you go on a day that cruise ships are in town, you will see a lot of other tourists as well. Enjoy your trip and thanks for the watch🥰🥰

So much great information! I’m stopping in Nassau with a cruise this summer and will only have a few hours. Initially I was planning on walking to Junkanoo beach and back stopping at the straw market. But now I think a stop to Fort Charlotte, Queens Staircase and Fort Finncastle should be added to my itinerary. Did you both walk to all theses places? 8 mapped it out and it’s about an hour round trip. Do you feel it’s a safe walk to take? I will be with my husband and 2 teenage boys. It looks like we will be walking through communities more than tourist areas.

Hey!! 🤗 we are so glad our little guide has been useful for you. You’re going to have a blast on your Nassau cruise this summer. We felt very safe walking to those spots. They’re not exactly in the tourist zone but they’re so close that most locals there are used to seeing people. And for sure you could walk to Finncastle and queen’s staircase. Charlotte was a bit far and in that back breaking heat we might take a taxi out there next time. But Charlotte was TOTALLY worth it. So fun to explore an old fort without any guides or anything haha Thank you! And let us know if you have any other questions. 🥰🤗

So fun y’all are traveling!! 🥰 Nassau is amazing. And which walk do you mean the walkway right near the cruise docks?? If so, we are 90% sure it should be wheel chair accessible. We’re pretty sure a lot of cruisers need ramps to get down so I bet in that area it’s pretty well developed

Dont forget when the queens ships pulled up to the beaches of Africa it was the Black Kings and African slave owners that had their fellow black people chained and for sale in a line for purchase. History matters. Facts hurt.

Hahaha. Definitely a mistake. We got very burned that day. Mainly it’s just because we travel EXTREMELY light to not buy a carry on or checked, so we have the biggest personal item possible, and then when we explore just empty it out and fill it with essentials - sunscreen, water, extra battery, etc. Are you heading to Nassau soon?
