I don't know why for the Winchester lever action rifles of the same century don't used ammunition like most of rifles because "they can't hold pointed bullet ammunition due to his magazine" if the Lebel rifle can perfectly do it with the same magazine, I understand those rifles were designed to carry the same ammunition of a revolver so you don't have to carry 2 different cartdriges for 2 guns, but they could produce a variation of it designed for higher caliber ammunition. Guess I'm gonna do it myself.
@MCWordicus

@zeniatapro4412
11 ай бұрын
@@MCWordicus With that comment, I mean why didn't they made a variation of it DESIGNED for this caliber ammunition, Ik 200 years ago and nowadays the tube magazine it is not very efective for that, but if you think about it, the most modern lever action rifles for hunting use a small tradicional magazine that allows to have this type of caliber, but most of them have very small capacity of ammunition, being able to only hold less than 4 ammunition and the other rifles that use soft-pointed ammunition are used as deportive rifles and for practice, so, with the tecnology there is nowadays ¿Why not create a version that use tube magazine AND designed to use much more powerful ammunition like the Lebel rifle does? This would bring a tradicional lever action rifle with higher ammunition power and capacity for hunting big preys, and yes, ¿Why tube magazine if there already exists the nowadays magazine that is much more effective in terms of capacity? Well, there's a lot of people that prefers tube magazine instead of a normal magazine because it looks tradicional and don't like so much how a normal magazine looks on them because it changes completely the normal design of the rifle, basically just for aesthetics, and even in a rifle this is an important fact because nobody would like to buy an ugly gun.

The french re enactor totally had no idea, he had shot live rounds prior, and due to the complex tube magazine that the lebel has, making it a lot easier to mix up blanks and live rounds… he had accidentally left one round in the mag. makes it more difficult to check and to know and not know whats it your weapon.
