So many pockets, I'm so jealous! But honestly cargo shorts aren't flattering, they make most guys look shorter than they are because of where they fall on the leg. Its a double whammy when guys decide to wear long socks along with it. But they have their use during outside type activities, but in everyday casual wear it looks a little sloppy.

It’s elitist and pompous. I’m sure it could have been a stylistic think or an attempt at sarcasm but the taste it left was very sour. And again this is from someone who agree with virtually all the recommendations. But life isn’t one size fits all. The Backpack is the best way to carry weight for the body. I don't care what others think seeing one on me. There are barely any healthy shoes out there that support natural toe placement. @@quasimodo8959 It never ceases to amaze me how offended people can get by the opinion of others. Incredible. I wrote that backbacks with a suit is a bad look, why would I care if you're not "always wearing a suit"? It has nothing to do with the subject at hand, You're not always wearing a backpack either, are you? In fact, counterarguing with "I am not always wearing a suit" is a red herring argument and therefor a fallacy, since it is a useless piece of information. For your information: Even though I definitely get the impression you're young and probably in school (which is where a backpack is appropriate), in case you're a working man in the middle class: use your beloved nylon backpack, by all means. You don't care about classy looks and that is fine. Everyone does not have the same style, and Schneider from the video certainly isn't stopping you from doing it. He is giving you tips and he said backpacks makes you look like an overgrown schoolboy (which is not wrong) and you still use it, so what is the problem? Actually, why did you even watch a "style mistakes" video if you weren't prepared to change up your style? You just watched it hoping for validation or something? That is honestly pathetic.

Certain rules should apply in men's fashion. Discussing what they are is always a bit of a topic of discussion. I agree with much of his take, some I am at odds with. I do agree with the main concept -- dress in a classic style, in ways and with articles that are timeless. He didn't talk about stripes on stripes, as in striped shirt with striped ties, but that's a "no". Still, trying new things, taking a chance here and there, if we never changed at all, we'd still be taking two hours to dress in the morning, with men trying to get the powder in their wigs right.

Honestly, this video makes a lot of good points, but I really do have to agree with the people who say that the outfit you're wearing is a travesty. I can't believe you had it custom made, because the suit jacket is obviously way too big for you (which is obvious to anyone with eyes), and the pants are incredibly unflattering on your body shape. It sort of feels like the tailor saw you coming from a mile away, and decided to take you for a ride with this 'custom' job. That or he really had no idea what he was doing.

As a man with a thick neck who usually can't physically button the top button, big flat feet that require wide toe box and room for my insoles, who regularly wears cargo pants/shorts and carries a backpack... yeah, I look anything but dapper. I don't care. I place functionality over form. I also have all the stuff you either forgot or didn't bring because it ruins the lines of your suit.

I understand that you're trying to make the point that it's important to dress well, but it doesn't work when you say that dressing otherwise will make you unintelligent, immature, or look like a used car salesman. These things come off as very snobby, pretentious, and unintelligent in their own nature. Why judge someone so harshly based on their material objects or how they dress rather than the content of their character? If you do so, then it's not that there's something wrong with them, it's that something is wrong with you.

I have been living in Florida for over 4 years now and I am perfectly fine dressing this way. There are suits that are lighter and perfect for hot days which I wear from March to June, sometimes I put on thin cotton sweaters instead of jackets during this period of time. Similarly, in the hottest days of summer (July to September), I just don't wear a jacket. Instead, I just put on a vest, a sweater vest, or if the climate is just too hot (like mid-July and early august) a polo shirt. Lastly, from November to February, I wear normal 3 piece suits, although I vastly prefer to put on a sweater vest instead of a normal vest from a 3 piece, that's just personal opinion though. Somewhere around December, it gets too cold because of the rain and everything so I wear turtlenecks with suits and coats. I also have a slim waterproof Trench Coat I wear without a jacket underneath when it is raining in hotter days. Never in the entire 4 years, I have been in Florida I have ever worn flip flops or cargo shorts. Even before I wore dapper clothing I never put on cargo shorts nor flip flops and I don't think I ever will. The human body can adjust itself to the environment fairly fast and efficiently so wearing thicker clothing in summer will develop a resistance to heat. If you, however, start wearing thinner and more cooler clothing, your body will develop a dependence on it and you won't be capable of wearing anything warmer. Also, drinking hot drinks in mid-summer will also help develop this resistance further. Just an insight from my personal experiences and a bit of scientific reasoning from why I can perfectly dress like this in Florida. I hope it helps in whatever it might.

So today I learned fashion is basically setting a group of people apart from others to feel higher and better then them based on judging people harshly based off the hierarchy built by ages of judgmental prudes on wether or not one can afford, chooses to, or for whatever other reason dress a certain way. I also learned that manners and respect don’t necessarily come with dress or fashion. There were many undignified words said here, very unfashionable indeed.
