Filmed and edited by Marcus Howard. On a bright blustery Easter morning in the Garden of Remembrance, The 1916 Relatives Association remembered the centenary of the end of The Civil War. In an inclusive and moving ceremony, wreaths were laid by relatives from all sides, pro-treaty, anti-treaty and neutral. A touching performance of "Grace" was sung by Ruby O Kelly. Mary Fitzpatrick highlighted the importance of naming the new national children's hospital after the pioneering doctor and 1916 participant Kathleen Lynn. The Proclamation was read by Mark Keane. Thanks to all who participated and added such colour and music to the occasion.
