Coming along nicely! I really appreciate the appreciation you're showing the old dollhouse! I don't know what kind of paint you're planning to use to match the green, but artists' oil paint Vert Emeraude, (Emerald Green), and white will get that colour. It could be thinned just a bit and used as more of a stain and done in layers, so it doesn't stand out like a sore thumb. Looking forward to the next installment of this restoration project, as well as that lamp.

I understand this is a labor of love. consider using dawn dish soap. its used on birds when there is a oil spill. I would love to see you even clean the walls with dawn and a damp cotton swab. also, consider using the same material that is one the roof for the porch? Are you going to put a clothes pin against the wall as a railing post instead of just the long posts out of the wall? Much Love

Seriously. This doll house looks a lot like my house. I hear you keep saying Tudor style but I think it's more Craftsman style. It even had the green window trim until we replaced 40+ combination windows with new white trim high efficiency windows. Saved some of the screens to dry Morel mushrooms.

HI Rachel. I went with Tudor revival because this house has many of the classic Tudor characteristics such as the steeply pitched gabled roof, the decorative half-timbering , high chimney and stucco finish on the exterior. :)
