One of the best vids of a classic car I have seen. Nice and relaxed with just enough detail to be able to learn stuff. Thanks.

I have a 1928 Chevrolet Coupe, It was tore apart when I bought it! Putting it back together now! Questions! What it the hole just below the water pump besides the Generator tension bar? Is it a vent? It looks like a hose runs from this hole to the intake mouth on Your carburetor! But I believe it must have something to do with getting oil to the Crankshaft & Cam Gears! Is this correct? I LOVE Your BEAUTIFUL Car!

Thanks! That hole is for crankcase ventilation. Yes, positive crankcase ventilation in '28.

Hello James! how often do you need to oil the Motor? what motor oil do you use?

Hey William. Thanks for reaching out. I like to use straight 30W in all my cars with higher miles. It never gets very cold in So Cal. Castrol is the brand I prefer, but any quality oil will do. For oiling the top end, valves and rockers, if I recall correctly the book says every 300 miles. I keep the felt pad wet and oil the rockers, almost every time I drive it. It's overkill and I think most of the oil just runs down the sides of the engine, but I'd rather have more lube than not enough. Hope this helps.
