Hi Sheila, it’s true that you’re never too old to learn. Watched your tutorial on casting on using cable method, and it’s a game changer. Looks very neat. Thanks Best wishes A

Yes, Sheila, your video is much clearer than when you're downstairs. I'm glad that the black is easier to see for you in that room. Your knitting is beautiful. You have alot of patience.

You might want to get an adjustable neck light for dark colors. I use mine for crochet, knitting, and hand sewing. Amazon has them with 3 light settings. It really helps.

Yes, natural light is the best. I worked as a copy editor and our boss insisted on big windows in our office, for the close work. I am glad you've found a comfortable seat, too - so important. ❤

Great Idea to use your spare room as your knitting room if the light is better. . Loved the yellow cardigan

Cozy room, Sheila! Maybe you should consider knitting there all winter ! Plus it’s right under the roof so it may be warmer…up there. Try that . Plus as you say , heat rises. Pretty sweater. Knitting a scarf( what else?) as I listen to you . Hello Elvis !!!!!!!! So sweet the sweater for carol. ❤ x

Think i may knit up here all the time Marilyn, it is much brighter, probably because it's a smaller room than my living room so there is more light and the window is the same size as my living room window, another good thing i am sitting right next to the radiator so will be able to keep the heating on low in the winter..🤗

@@sheilasknittingtipsandothe3191 yep ! Thats what I was suggesting! I think you’ll be much more comfortable temp - wise as well as easier on your eyes! Also that ‘wool wall ‘ will provide insulation… I love that room!!!! Cozy ! ❤️🍄🍁
