Very cool dash. I was thinking of exhaust pipe coming out at an angle so the gauge is facing you directly. But all your work is very cool. Love it. Can't wait to see this car going.

Whole dash looks PERFECT ash tray included. Was trying to interrupt and say "you can flatten that bottom" before you mentioned it. Don't know if he still does it but Roy Brizio used to make a very simple and clean column drop using a heavy wall slice of tubing that tightly fits your column drop. He would drill a small hole (maybe 1/4-28 ) and use a set screw somewhere in that tube ring. He would use smaller tube (maybe 1/2" or slightly smaller) again fairly heavy wall, from the tube ring up to a (not visable) plate under the dash. So what you see is two, usually angled out, tubes going from a ring on the column drop up to the bottom of the dash. Very simple and clean. I used stainless parts on mine and polished the stainless. Sometimes they would make a plate across those tubes and include the ignition switch, etc. You could do that on yours only make the tubes go out a bit sideways before going up to the dash to give you more "flat" in between. Maybe carefully fit the flat plate "inside or under" (recessed down) to add another dimension. BTW, if you like that plating look, consider using "Nickel" plating on all your "shiny" stuff. It has that "gold" tint to it that always adds a bit of "class".

Hey Rick, The dash looks great, the old A is coming along. I don't know if it's your style or not but there is another KZitem creator, also in BC Canada, who goes by "Make it Kustom". His name is Karl Fisher. He made some inside door panels out of polished aluminum that look like they are diamond pleated. It might be worth giving his channel a watch. He does some cool work with sheet metal. Thanks for the video! -mike

Hey Rick I know this doesn't have anything to do with your Ford there but I have a little Ford pickup truck and I was wondering if I would have an advantage to a federal charging system if I added the big three upgrade on my little truck and is there any downside to doing it

Hey Rick this question doesn't have any thing to do with your new Ford there but I have a little Ford pickup truck and I was thinking about doing the Big 3 wiring upgrade for the charging system and I was wondering if you had any thoughts on that as to whether it would be a good thing to do or not thank you

Don't mount the headlight switch on the bottom of the dash. Your leg will hit it and the lights will go off. Enjoy
