OHTM Registrar Jonah Carter and NEAA™ and Development's Ron Quebec lead a discussion of the 1931 Henderson motorcycle.
At the start of the twentieth century, Ignaz Schwinn was one of the world’s largest bicycle manufacturers. With a plan to expand into motorcycles, Schwinn bought the Excelsior Company in 1912 and the Henderson Company five years later, drawn to the latter’s design featuring an in-line four-cylinder engine. Schwinn remained the third largest motorcycle manufacturer in the United States until the Great Depression forced him to end production in 1931
