Hi, im from Uk..enjoying watching you trouble shooting the issues on youre build..im pretty useless, taken me last part of last year just trying to get the rear of my reliant trike put together.....miles and miles to go...youre a great source of inspiration..wish you all the best for 2024..look forward to seeing youre project come together...very cool!..steve

That's a huge improvement on the running board to fender alignment! Looks to me like it may be a long bed running board that's been shortened to fit the shortbed.

Yeah I think so. They did a great job shortening it. Everything from the cab back on my truck is a bit of a mismash

@@stance_is_everything haha I've got a 53 3100 that's the same way front to back, so I get it. Mines more of a compilation of parts than a single truck, but it's fun!

On your running boards where the running boards bolt to the fenders put fender welt between the running board and fender put the welt where the running board bolts to the front fender and where the rear fender bolts to the running board. that will close the gap. You could use chrome weather welt. They use chrome fender welt on fenders where they bolt to the body. you can us it where the running boards bolts to the fender. They have it in black also to match the rubber on your running boards.

Thanks! Yes after I patina the fenders to match I do plan to find some welding to work. More than likely black.
