Although I was born in 1952 and never saw Elmer Lach play, Elmer Lach has always been one of my favorite hockey players because of his hair style. He had that beautiful thick head of hair (I am jealous) parted down the middle, greased back with whatever hair tonic they used back then. Rocket had the great hair as well, but Elmer's was parted down the middle. For some reason, I thought that was the greatest thing. Throw in the Montreal uniform as well as the natural leather-colored gloves, and everything seemed perfect.

your channel is excellent. thank you for these videos. By any chance do you have the full first round of the entry drafts that youve posted clips for, or know where to get them? Specifically for the 80s drafts and 1991 and 1992. thank you

That was the last time there was a Final with Game 7 OT if I'm not mistaken.

This was game 5. Both game 7 OTs in the Stanley Cup Finals (not counting the possible one on June 24 2024) ended in Detroit Red Wing victories, both were scored by role players, the first in 1950 by Pete Babando and the second in 1954 by Tony Leswick.
