I'm in central Minnesota, a Super 88 Diesel is one of my dream tractors. I'm looking for one for our small farm. I grew up on my grandpas Olivers and Minneapolis Molines. Can't get them out of my blood. This tractor is gorgeous!

beautiful tractor.. I spent many an hour/years plowing with ours in southern MN. It had a long wheel base so stayed in the furrow easily. A little to light for the power so we always added 2-100 case weights to it. One on top of the transmission and one on top of the drawbar (inside the cage made by the drawbar supports. Very smooth running 6 cyl diesel. Didn't start worth a darn in winter though, the battery space inside the hood only allowed for 2 smaller batteries.

Wondering where you’re at, that black dirt looks a lot like what my place sets on here in S Tx

Hitterdal, MN, is 30 miles East of Fargo/Moorhead, right on the edge of the Red River Valley. The soil is amazing! Thanks for watching.

@@danbeske8593 my Dad had an ol “70” that I grew up using to pull 2 14’s. I reckon it was an early 40’s model , had a 2 row cultivator w mechanical lift ……. Dad bought it when the owner bought a new Super 77 and sold the 70 to Dad.

In my opinion, he is moving quite fast for pulling a three-bottom plow with no colters. Do you happen to know the width of the plow bottoms? 14"?

How long did it take you to get the Pony Motor running before you could start the Diesel Engine? Oh wait an Oliver diesel NEVER needed a Pony Motor! It could start on a 12 Volt Electric System!

This tractor was purchased new in Ogema, MN, by my Dad's father. It was sold to a neighbor a few years after my Grandfather purchased it. In 2002, my Dad obtained the tractor from the neighbor. It was in very rough shape, so my Dad had it fully restored. It's definitely a family history tractor for us.

@@danbeske8593 nice, I asked because my grandpa had around 80 classic tractors at one point including a lot of 88s, also in minnesota
