You cry about these "shippers" yet you do not mind damaging their equipment using your jury rig methods of unloading. It does not appear that you damaged the ramps on this "shipper's" trailer but if you had would you pay for the damages to his equipment? It is a two-way street you know. As far as the "shipper" just trying to back into a place where he has never been, that is on him if he has a crash with a local individual but he should at least talk to the consignee (that's you by the way) to get an idea of the best way (I call it the combination) to bring his load in, and if he ever does bring in another load for the transportation outfit he will know what the combination is. If it is feasible to go around the block and bring the load in from the other end of your yard it is advantageous for this driver in order for him to avoid insurance claims. He gets too many insurance claims he will find it hard to get the proper insurance, as the proper amount of insurance if you are for a hire transportation outfit is a million dollars liability insurance. Most transporters have to sign on with a carrier as the insurance is rather expensive. This particular transporter may not be aware of that as it is obvious, he is not an American due to the language barrier. He gets into a major crash where there are injuries, he will wish he educated himself better. Of course, this is not especially on you as you are the consignee and your insurance regarding this type of trouble would be between you and your insurance company as to your coverage. I would always check with a delivery location to find the best way to spot my trailer to avoid any possible incidents of hitting cars or property. The main reason I do not engage in this type of business is that there are too many "low ball outfits" out there who undercut a legitimate hauler who realizes that there are other costs involved in this business that cannot be covered by hauling for low rates and like yourself I am not in this business to pay people for the privilege of going broke.

Thank you for that very long list of feed back. Probably to much to reply to with one message without doing what you did but next time this happens we will explain all the methods behind the madness of a shipper not understand what’s supposed to be going on
