Thanks for sharing! Runs great. I have an old 15 hp like that - but it is red. I need to go through it - but if it runs that good, I'll be happy!

Ok , I'm out of synch but I just wanted to thank you so much for posting that video ( I recently stumbled upon) about removing the OMC shift rod bushings by tapping them, srewing in a section of 5/16 allthread and effortlessly pulling them by turning a nut testing against a piece of flat stock layed on top of the gearcase. Yeah, I'm done with that endless fight with the slide-hammer. I say Ben for Président !

Ben Great job. 👍 I have a ‘76 Lund S14 with a ‘89 25 HP Rude. I have several 9 1/2 Johnson’s too. I was curious if they would push the Lund at any speed. I see 10 HP scoots it along pretty nice. Going to give them a try. Thanks

Hey buddy, i really appreciate what you do. I got a 1969 9.9 that i cant figure out why im not getting spark. I was only getting spark on the lower cylinder coil. Changed the top coil and now im not getting any spark on either lines. your thoughts in general? by the way i cleaned the points and changed the condensors. both coils are good, what else could kill the spark ? have you run into a problem like this with the chryslers?

@@benjaminnitz5077 Love's fish box in Kings Mountain NC has quite a few old outboards hanging from the rafters. It's a nice atmosphere to sit down and eat in.
