An amazing find. Keep it alive. Good on ya. I just bought a 59 Biscayne 2dr hot rod but would prefer the wagon to be honest.

We had the same vehicle except red/white with gray interior. Yours came with a 235 straight 6 and a cast Iron Powerglide transmission, the same as ours. (no V on the hood.)

Definitely a 1959 Chevrolet Parkwood. We had this. Ran beautifully. Just don't slit your wrists on the rockets/jets on the front when you wash the car! I was told that not many of these were made. Love this so much! Thanks for posting!

Ford/Mopar guy here.....yet that's a nice wagon. Perhaps next look into a refit kit to convert front brakes to disc. All American cars from that era deserve it.

I remember!!!!! Back in 1959 Chevrolet called this color “Frost Blue.” There was a darker color Chevrolet offered they called Balboa Blue. At least that was what those colors were call on the brochures here in the USA. Thank you for posting this.

Very pretty car! It has the Impala upholstery but the outside trim looks like a Parkwood model which was near the Bel Air trim wise. Chevrolet wagon models were (starting at the bottom going to the top): Yoeman, Brookwood (Biscayne trim), Parkwood (Bel Air trim), Kingswood (between Bel AIr & Impala trim) and top of the line Nomad (Impala trim). The Nomad was top of the line but not the hardtop styling like the 55, 56, & 57 models.

It is a Parkwood. My family had one in this exact color. Gorgeous car! Miss it so much.

If that's original paint, it's been well kept. Most of the old chevys had serious floor rot issues. The only thing that looks aftermarket is the speakers in the rear doors. The 3 tone upholstery was stock for 59 as well. Whoever owned this loved it, and took very good care of it.

That's a nice looking wagon. There just aren't that many vintage station wagons out there. One of my oldies is an 83 Caprice wagon; ...not that old yet. Yours is spectacular.

My family had one almost exactly like this in the early 60s although it was silver colored as I recall. My folks traded the 59 in for a brand new 65 Bel Air. The Bel Air was the car I learned to drive on.

Just sold my 59 chevy sedan delivery last week. I had to, it was just sitting. Rather find it a good home rather than see it rust away. I miss it already. It was the same color too. But i painted it white.
