Shrouds do work! I put one on my 66 Nova, and it did lower the temp at idle, and in slow moving traffic. I know that life happens, and you have to take care of the family and important stuff first. I have been with you since you started with the 63 Impala, if you want more subscribers you need to make more videos. You do interesting stuff that guys like to see. I'm an old man who relives my younger days by watching you work on the older cars. Take care.

That's the exact same body style I had. My color was Roman Red, and my interior had been redone. It was nearly perfect. My engine was shot, which is why I got the car for $300. I swapped in a 350 I got from a buddy who wrecked his Nova, and I was in business! It was a real easy fix up, an I had myself a spectacular 59. I sure do miss it every time I see one. I wish you all the best with yours.

I promised my son we will be cruising with my Bonneville Convertible today. It is extremely hot in Switzerland. Probably we will have the hottest day of the year. Let us see who can stand the heat more the car or the passengers. Love your 59: Probably the coolest of many cool fullsize Chevies ever!

What is your temp there?

@@restodan The car held up better than we did. No overheating issues. We were stuck in traffic jams again and again. People seemed to make accidents due to the heat. We had 36 Celsius. I think this is 97 degrees Fahrenheit. But our climate is kind of humid. So it feels much hotter than in the dry parts of the USA. With the open Convertible and in the sun it is much hotter though and the big block is heating the feet and we got a bit cooked.

Hey Dan you would attract more people to your channel if you make the video's a little longer like instead of 5 minutes have 15 minute video's and people will watch more anyway that is awesome the old 59 is treating you good and I'm surprised that old 348 is even able to run in 100 degree weather the cooling ports must be clear of any rust and old hardened coolant to run in that kind of weather.

For 20 bucks, you couldn't lose... if it was wrong and fit a 409 car, you could probably get way more than 20 for it, if it was correct.... WINNER! Where videos go, I love yours and wish you would make more.... I watched the corvette, impala and belair videos religiously ... you act like you have some sense...
