I feel like these two are the only ones on HGTV who use “modern” correctly. The natural materials and unfussy design are lovely in this house. (But I would repaint that front door in a heartbeat.)

@tracythokchom4990 There's a reply to this same question up the thread from @aprilsmith6587. She writes: 'It sold but not right away for $950,000 resulting in no profit to split.' Kind of disappointing for this couple - who waited another six weeks. But at least it sold and they got the $850,000 they first wanted. For the twins' business - they've kept their trades employed and paid. And they've contributed to the economy, buying building materials and electrical goods. But again - disappointing for them to have invested their creativity and design and walk away after six weeks just at break-even. At least they receive payment for this HGTV show. And perhaps it does say something about the current market as well.

What exactly is the “organic” speak? Is that product or look or feel…..because I’ve never heard it used on the other Reno shows I watch. Sounds like it should be a drinking game….every time you say organic 😂😂
Love that fun ceiling, but it was too much with the wallpaper. They should’ve done a solid black. It was weird that they were having black and then the dark blue. Some of it just didn’t know so I can go but overall so much better of course.

@LK-dx2oq I feel sure their painter did the proper preparation. Remember they have filming days with a camera crew, across the six weeks. This looked like a little interlude for the show. The final color looked more like a lime-green to my eye than that test pot of primary yellow.

@MS-fh4sz This is an edit of the full length program. It looks, to my eye, like they chose a 1960s lime-green shade in the end for the door. Versus the first primary yellow shade. 1960s male fashion used this shade as well - for knitted polo shirts, vests under suits, ties, swimwear and even cars! I'm sure some of those dudes were straight and single 😉
