i had a 9 second 1/4 mile falcon back in the 70's was never beat was a 1963 1/2 ford falcon sprint,, i had people all over the united states comeing to challenge me,7 years undefeated. i retired the car to a young kid he sold it now hes wanting it back but the cost to get it back is $150,000 the guy who bought it put much money into it,to restore it like i had it once, all parts came from the ford road racing teams car from ford motor corperation,it only had one after market part on it the coil.

Would love to do another Falcon. I'd just find a clean 64 or 65, go to the insurance auction and pickup a later model Mustang GT 5 speed and take it from there. These cars are deceptively light. Doesn't take much to motivate them...
