Here via aquaholics. Awesome film of it`s time.. Wonderful watching. Boats certainly have come a long way in the intervening 56 years haven`t they?

Alan Burnard got the inspiration for his designs from Ray Hunt who originated the " deep Vee" concept for fast cruising boat hulls. Burnard had a lot of help from Ray Hunt initially. Ray Hunt's designs are still in production with a few updates.

It’s great to see that some businesses are still building boats 60 or more years later. Does anyone know where all those boats ended up? I like the way that Bertram looked in 1964. If someone knows where I could find a 1964 Bertram race boat let me know. Thanks
