We raced one in high school. 440, 60 over, balanced, 11 to 1s, 4 speed, 780 Holley on a torker, Isky cam, Hooker Headers, it would blow off 396 Chevelles. Consistent low 13s, on the street. The car had great weight transfer, it had weight to transfer, and on uneven pavement. , that makes a difference. To run low 13s in 1976, that was a quick car. Also very stable at 110. There's going fast, and then there's feeling safe while you're going fast. In terms of styling that car was considered very progressive. Yes we used to beat it out in the cow pastures. Back in the day you could get a loose 440 from a wrecking yard for a hundred bucks. We also ran those motors in the 67 Cuda, with 488s and wrinkle walls. I still look for that car at the drags on Wednesday nights. We were born at the perfect time. Smokey toastie.

I thought this car did not exist, but it is nice to see someone had the foresight to create one--beautiful interpretation to screw with the purists. I hope to own something with a 440 in it one day. My Dad had a 68 Monaco with a 440 4 barrel w/Torqueflite---it rode like it was on rails. Beautiful car with just enough luxury to be civilized.

My dream car was the 70LS6 chevelle, until I saw the 66-67 charger and it is now my dream car, I am a mopar fan now because of this car, I am not a fan of white interior, because they seem to get die from clothes on them and its just not as easy to keep clean but if it was the only way I could get one of them i would be happy to have it i also love the b5 blue in both 67 and 70 because it is slightly different colors but I think they look great in blue with dark blue or black interior. But I have seen them in the original red paint and red interior, definitely a beautiful car. . Enjoy her she is definitely a great example of class, and muscle car with comfort and the dash is my favorite the gauges are light up really good for the year too i wish they had made more than 2 yrs of this design
