Brings back memories growing up in Minnesota, late 60's & 70's. Snowmobile Haven back then. Very nice Alpine & Ski-boose. Thanks for sharing your video 👍

I rode the 73ish 640 and it was killer on hills. Great sled. My grampa’s riding buddy in the early ‘70s rode a 62ish alpine that probably topped out at 15mph.

Nice machine, but it needs a big block Rotax 640 for a powerplant. Way underpowered for the size of it.

All skidoos have rotax motors. My formula plus has a 670 rotax with decker twin pipes

so that later on they could invent snowboarding. James Bond movie. they are chasing him, and they blow up the snowmobile the one ski landed next to him, and he jumped on it and slid down the hill and got away. Snowboarding was created by that stunt in the movie

It was stable enough with the two tracks that it didn't need two skis.

One ski is much better in the forest. In Russia there is a snowmobile called Buran for the forest.
