I know this is an older post, at least a year ago, I was born in Rhode Island and Tasca Ford was/is the real deal. Those guys back in the day were racing legends around those parts, they always has kick butt machines. Nice to see a Tasca original still around, very cool.

Buddy of mine had one. I spent a lot of time riding in and driving that car. That Cobra Jet was one of the baddest cars out in those years.

My buddy and I swapped out the OE cast iron intake for the police interceptor aluminum on his 428 CJ Mach 1 back around 1974. I swear it took both of us to get the intake off the car. As I recall it weighed around 100 lbs! His car sat about 1/2-3/4” higher in the front after the swap. We were really lucky the intake didn’t leak. Anyone who has swapped an FE intake manifold knows this was nothing short of a miracle considering the job was done by two teenagers!

Nice, i been to CT Dragway way back early 80,s as a little kid holding Mom's hand, believe it was in Colchester. Was saying 4.30 Geared Rear, and a Top Loader, Original Owner wanted to Drag Race it, And then i saw that Class Winner Decal, and that summed it up. Beautiful Cobra Jet, always Loved the 68 Fastback Cobra Jets, even Cooler this one's from Tasca.

Whi would ever want to cover up that sweet sweet sound of a 68 CJ by installing or having a radio. Some people will just never really know. Ya know. lol

Братан, ты не представляешь как я тебе Завидую. Иметь Такую Машину- это круче чем иметь например Харли Квин. Короче Американский Автопром 70 годов - Это Мощь.
