Nice work. I had the EXACT situation and job. Got a good deal, drove forever and had to do all the rear metal minus the rails and passenger compartment floors. Welding curled up inside the quarter was fun wasn’t it? I was laughing when I saw. But you did a great job with the valance corners! They’re no fun but they make or break the job!

Good progress! I am preparing a 68 Charger to sandblasting, all new rear sheetmetal there too. Watching all Charger videos I can find 😁 It was nice to see all the battle with rear corners, waiting for that myself... Not... Keep going 👍

I do drywall for a living,I have learned that if I work from the center outwards, then work the perimeter back into the center with symmetrical measurements and everything on square, plum and level, thanks for your humility,it’s appreciated.

Cool build, I've enjoyed following your progress and videos immensely, Thx for sharing. That said.... I'm somewhat curious around the financial viability of such extensive restoration undertakings ? No Offense intended.... you are doing an absolutely Fanatstic Job ! However I am left wondering if potentially just going out a BUYING one still in great shape ? or already restored by someone else wouldn't be more cost effective in the long run ?

If I didn’t have OCD and a budget of about $60k I’d go find one that needs little things. But runs and drives. You will save allot of money no doubt. It’s not nearly as fun but it’s a better financial decision. That’s never been me. I like to start a project and finish it all on my own. I found a trans shop back east called Brewers and they are building a A833 hemi 4 speed. I also have a great engine builder that is the best value I’ve ever seen. Other than that, I pride myself on do everything else.On another note, if you choose to build a car, you will be much more familiar of the car because only you touched it. I am happy to connect with you if you have any questions. I can be reached by email chrisrobertmcdaniel@gmail. Good luck. Try to get a hold of Chris Birdsong or Mopars5150, they seem to have cars for sale quite often.
