That's sad that some sleds never ran or touched snow. When I restored sleds, I made them to like new and used them. Great video 😎👍

I don't think so, I think it a good thing. When some old sleds in 1970's have 0 miles would be worth more money or even still in crate is better yet .and I restored sleds to after it done it be lucky see snow once a season or every 2-3 years.not going to spend crazy money restored a sled so it can get destroyed again

I remember one of these sitting in the isle of our local Sears store. I bet they didn't sell many as there were so many other makes sold at dedicated dealers where you could actually get service and parts.

Yes. This reminds me of the time my dad sold Cat and SkiDaddler. So many other fly by night makes sold out the back end of a truck and when they asked for parts or service some unethical folks would say to go see our business because all snowmobiles were the same……🤣 I Wonder how many of these oddballs the old man scrapped after swapping the customer a real sled?

Yes, I did a video of the Caribou. It will be posted within a few days. I brought back from this museum 5 sleds to place into January auction. See www.auctionmasters.com/auctions/detail/bw93518

@@valdisoldsnowmobileinformation Way cool machine. I test drove one back in the day. "Clutches and brakes" turning was forward thinking. Downfalls in my opinion were: Small engine, no reverse and very low profile track. Thanks for the review.

Notice the double bar in the rear. A kickstand perhaps?

Yes, the "kickstand" was used to raise the track off the ground, to prevent the track from freezing to the ground
