Love how the ole Stang is coming along! These old classics are getting rare and to be able to save the body and mount it on a modern chassie is the thing to do... one channel has a 1968 Torino body mounted on a 2000 Lincoln Panther frame, which is what I want to do with my 1971 Galaxie500 which is a body on frame car, so it should be a lot less work than what your putting into the 1970 Mustang!

It really is. Not only does it save them you het alot better interior. And it's budget friendly. I would love to do a galaxy at some point too. They're cool cars. I'm considering for the next build I do. Building my oem frame for it on a chassis jig

Man you are not lying! I got this body which was a base GT for 2500$ it had a ton of usable parts. The blue one I picked up is in worse shape but it's a mach 1 paid 8k for it. Crazy what some of them bring. I haven't decided which route to go on that one yet. Can't get to it until this one is done and sold lol to much money tied up sitting around

It so awesome that you get to do these projects. This is what I did from the age of 17 to about 30 but couldnt make a career out of it so I had to go another direction. Enjoy the project my friend your doing an awesome job.

@crazycrea thanks man! I just keep doing what I can to make it. Started out doing used car lot mechanic work and that evolved to buying, fixing and selling 5.0 cars. Took a chance on this 1970 since it was cheap. Hoping it pays off to go to the next one! Learning more as I go but loving the process for sure! Thanks for reaching out!

Thanks man! My goal from the beginning has been to keep it looking like a 70. None of the bandaids everyone else does to hide it being a 70 on a 12. There is only so much you can do about the rocker panel. But I have tried to minimalize it as much as possible and am pretty pleased with how its turning out!

Thankyou! I did make a bit more work for myself but the result is turning out better than how these are normally done imo. So it's worth it!
