Awesome Fury! I’m a big fan of all the Furys! The 70s are one of my favorites. The hideaway lights, 440 and the size is just great! They roll beautiful down the road! Great job restoring it!👍👍👍

I remember seein' this Sport Fury GT at Chrysler at Carlisle in 1999, Helluva nice C-body!!! I have a '72 Fury 3 4door hardtop, 400, 4barrel, 727, 8.75 rear with 3.23's suregrip!!! It's nice in it's own way, runs great, sounds great with 2.5 inch exhaust with flowmasters!!! I also have brand new cop car wheels and Cooper Cobra GT's P275/60/15 rear and P255/60/15 up front!!! Gonna put it in the body shop very soon!!! Mopar or no car

Arguably the best of the fuselage cars….very hard to find. That green is gorgeous. Did you experiment with black graphics to go with the black roof? I’d probably go for the 4 barrel and air cuz I’m a wimp 🤣

the 1970 Furys were the most beautiful Plymouths ever built in my opinion - my mother’s brand new Sandpepple Beige 383-2 1970 Fury Sport Suburban wagon had this same beautiful hood with the hood mounted turn signals - you’ve probably noticed already but if you look closely at the lenses of those turn signals you’ll seek the left/right arrows molded into the amber plastic - I always loved that detail - my grandfather had the Sport Fury (non GT) 2-door in Sunfire Yellow/black vinyl roof 383-4 engine. your car is beautiful - is that paint code F4? (Lime Green metallic) I prefer the stock grille and headlamp doors with the argent silver painted horizontal lines - type in 1970 Plymouth Sport Suburban commercial into the KZitem search blank - there’s a cool TV commercial that features the factory installed dual air conditioning option available

My parents owned an identical LOOK fury gt. Same color, black vinyl top, steel rally wheels and the BUMPY GT STRIPE down both sides. Instead of a 440 it had a 383 though and was a column shift. Other than that I would swear it was the car I used to ride in the back window of as a boy. Mom was a 2 foot driver who never believed in coming to a stop when she would back out the driveway. She would just pull it into drive and leave a whole bunch of 1 foot long "burnout" strips in the street. I also remember her saying it didn't handle very well until you got it over 80 mph.

I am so jealous. I've missed my first car since the day I sold it. Even thought college was a good experience, that car had more memories than I can count, back in 1983, when I'd pile three to five kids in and cruse to concerts, cities, or whatever, just cruse. My first car was a 66 300 coup, 440, dual exhaust, tach on the floor, all the options but air conditioning, it had 50K on the odometer, bought it for $1000, and could wipe most cars off the road 0-60...... But aerodynamics takes over after that. LOL! I've looked for one of those cars for over a year but can't find one that's matching numbers or complete, as most of the 440's out of those rigs were donor cars for transplants into Darts or Cuda's as engine swaps. These big old rigs were fast, comfortable, and reliable. I miss them on the road.

And the irony these days; some builders yank the 440's out of their C bodies and, replace them with Gen III 5.7L Hemis and matching trannys, out of a modern 300C, etc

I'm not being funny or disrespectful to you but are you joking about it being a top secret place,. Because it's not a top secret place. Just say, no trespassing and nobody comes here, unless you're with the right person. That would sound a lot better than top secret because,. I'm not going to disrespect,. New Orleans say where it's at when, my grandmother and father raised me and I know how people are with their cars and they should value their life like I value mine, p anyway I love the car God bless but you never really see a lot of them two doors, I mean you see him back in the day and movies but you know it's especially a six pack I mean I didn't even know that they made one of them thank you wonderful 😊 all respect wonderful post and knowledge I never knew none of that I was just sticking up for you all believe it or not.

Very cool. Seems like these larger cars with muscle car engines were made for the Midwest with long straight roads. Kind of like Ford's Mustang California Special, Plymouth should have called a car like this the Kansas Special.
