I love the simplicity of the parade. No glitz, no gimmicks...just the characters and a few bands.

It doesn't matter the quality of the film or how different the characters looked years ago. It never gets old seeing Disney World. Thank you for the great work you do and sharing!

I'm pretty sure that has be no later than 1973 because Town Hall only has the "Gulf Hospitality House" sign and is not listing the "Walt Disney Story" which opened in 73.

Agreed that it is early on in the 1970s and before The Walt Disney Story. Note that the short view from the Monorail toward Magic Kingdom shows a Tomorrowland that not only has no Carousel of Progress or People Mover/Tower, but it hasn't even begun construction. Bunting is on Main Street so we are probably into summer around the 4th of July. You have a full size fife & drum corps, which is how the park started, but faced attrition over the first decade until it was moved to Epcot. The parade itself is how things went until America on Parade in 1975. Also mentioned before me by epaddon is that The Walt Disney Story opened n 1973, but it was April of that year if I remember, meaning that with the summer patriotic bunting, the sign should have been up. I would say it was the summer of 1972.
