Got one of these new in 1970 for use in and around Colorado State University. Rode it many times to RMNP and up 287 into WY. Then came time to see about getting it home to St. Louis, MO. All options were more expensive than the bike cost me new. So, I got some maps and planned an epic back road trip with it and yes, I rode it 900 miles from the front range to St. Louis, MO in 2 days, overnighting in Kansas on old Rte.36. Dad drove me out to CSU sophomore yr and it was in the back of his Suburban getting out there. Then a repeat the following spring, but this time, no overnighting; 900 miles in 26 hrs, with necessary stops. Fuel cost for 900 miles, $3.25 Great times! Besides gas prices, I bet a lot has changed in the 50 yrs since then.

Sorry about that everybody. Several better informed folks have let me know that I mistakenly called this a TS90 (the VIN # starts with TS so I thought ... wrong). It is a TC90 and the engine serial number doubly confirms that as it starts with TC. Corrections made in the title (but the video shall have to remain unedited).

I had a 73 model. I remember the specs indicated that 4th gear in low range had the same ratio as 2nd gear in high range.
