Work of freaking art. Built from the ground up to be the best without being too concerned with keeping it original. I appreciate those that keep these cars all original, but sometimes upgrades truly are upgrades, and a car like this is better for it. Phenomenal build.

Just what I wanted to say as well. The upgrades are excellent - I like the convertible frame and suspension tweaks as well as the rat motor - but the car appears stock from the outside. Better than original, and meant to drive hard.

Damn man, that thing is fucking gorgeous!! I love it! Perfect looking car. Everything about it is perfect. I think the only thing I'd want different is a wooden steering wheel. This was the first muscle car I ever fell in love with. Actually it was a 1970 Chevelle that I fell in love with from Dazed and Confused, but this is just as beautiful. I love the front end of the 70 with the dual headlights, but I love the ass on this one better than the 70. I'd love to have one that has a 70 front end with a 71 ass end. I'm sure one exists somewhere, but I've never seen one myself. Very nice ride. Sounds like you're trying to sell it from some of the things you said like about the heater. If you are selling it, hopefully someone who truly appreciates it will end up with it, but man I'm sorry you have to sell it if that's what you're doing.

These chevelles are as good of an investment as a piece of land or a house these days. Telling him 4.11 is too much gear for that cam is rediculous! You gear it for the cam not some ideal freeway rpm otherwise it will be a pig. He knows what he is doing. In 1982, 2 years after graduation, I bought a neighbors 1971 Chevelle 454 SS red for $ 2,500. My dumb ass, a month later I was cruisin' with friends, stopped at McD's to hang out, and an older guy was admiring the car. He offered me $ 3,500.... I did not think down the road, I was 20yrs old and thought making a grand for just a month of owning the car was great. I sold it to him. I'm 61yrs old now, when I look back at any regrets in my life...selling that Doll is the first thing that hits me. Some advice to you youngsters, if you have an old muscle car, regardless of its condition, KEEP IT ! one day you will have it restored condition. And be sitting on a gold mine. A '71 Chevelle 454 SS in mint condition is worth over $75,000
