Here we do a brief overview of the 1974 Datsun 620 that has been completely restored by us. **Check out the Battery Analyzer Here ** Link - www.amazon.com...
Beautiful truck! Those battery analyzers are great, I've saved alot of money (and friends money) by recharging and testing.

Probably should run something down from the frame in front of the oil pan as protection, the interior is nice good choice of seats, dash is dope as fuck.

For the disk brake conversion did u have to use a proportioning valve?
@ErikRose_
Жыл бұрын
No proportioning valve was used, for the disk brake conversion. But we might end up installing one in the future to get more of the load dispersed to the front.

Hey Erik. awesome looking 620 and nice upgrades man. what size battery are you using? what group battery is it? I am running two batteries in my 620 because I have a kick ass sound system in it but I want to relocate them right behind the seats but my batteries are a bit big and measure about 7 1/2 inch deep I need something a bit smaller than that. maybe something around 6 to 6 1/2 deep
@ErikRose_

Thanks appreciate it 👍, we’re using group 51 battery usually what comes in civic and Hondas. I think they are like 9 inch in height and 5 inch width if i remember correctly so they’re pretty compact.

Super awesome except for putting a Toyota engine in a Nissan. Would've been better with a SR20 or a VQ37. I mean, you had to rebuild the truck from scratch so why not do something with more power and from the same brand? Would've saved motor mount fabrication.

Hey to each their own, but that’s exactly why those are the most common swaps done in these trucks especially sr20. We like to try new things and think outside the box, and we like to fabricate and build things so making mounts is done with enjoyment. But I understand we all have our own preferences and we’ll these our mine, but thanks for watching and stay tuned for more out the box builds 😏

Awesome build guys. I have my beams swap waiting in my garage. Any issues with clearance around the oil pan?
@ErikRose_
Жыл бұрын
Thanks S30Dan appreciate the support. 🤙Nope not at all no clearance issues, but if you’re putting it in a 620 think about making a skid plate for the oil pan because it does hang low but not bad. I still need to address that on mine but haven’t had any issues.

@@ErikRose_ good to know. Yeah it’ll be going in my 620 with 15s and air suspension so it’s going to sitting pretty low

Beaufitful truck bro and does it have a custom drive shaft or how did it go with the beam trans ? sorry new to this wanted to this swap on a hardbody
@ErikRose_
Жыл бұрын
Thanks bro, no problem yeah I had a custom driveshaft made. I just measured my driveshaft length and had it made with the proper slip yoke to beams trans and Datsun flange to the differential.

I'm tryna get my first project car n i found a 74 corona in long beach with the beams already in it but hasnt been completed, they're asking 5k. U guys think it's a good deal?
@ErikRose_
10 ай бұрын
That’s not bad honestly the beams swaps alone are going for like 3,300 now days. So if you you think the shell is worth the extra 2k and what you want to build, go for it brother.

That was the first plan, we actually have a 5.3 we were going to put in it, but didn’t want to cut up the firewall to make it fit. We’ll save it for another project 👍
